    “We usually stay overnight in Canberra on our way home from the snow, but this was our first time staying here. We didn’t realise the hotel was undergoing renovations, so it was a little surprising to find there was no reception and that check-in was around the back. We arrived looking rather dishevelled after a day of skiing, carrying an assortment of random bags, but the staff couldn’t have been lovelier. They were so helpful, kind and understanding when we explained that we hadn’t realised renovations were underway. Their warmth really made our stay so enjoyable. The renovations were clearly reflected in the price, and our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The hotel was also conveniently located near our favourite café around the corner. Don’t let the renovations put you off. We had a lovely stay and would happily return.”
