“After booking for a room last April for 2 nights in November, I realised I needed a room with a walk in shower ( owing to a disability) I phoned and spoke to the reception - on arrival we were helped to our room over looking the lake, (we were upgraded) such a surprise.
The food was "to die for" and the room very comfortable, staff all very friendly and helpful especially Wendi our waitress. Wonderful place.”

“We have stayed at The Lakehouse at least five times and our most recent stay was fantastic. The rooms overlook the lake in Daylesford, providing the most idyllic, quiet and restful setting. The staff are welcoming and friendly and ready to assist with any requests. Finally, the restaurant well and truly deserves its reputation as one of Victoria’s best. Whether enjoying a relaxing breakfast, an extra long lunch or memorable dinner, the setting is great, the staff warm and friendly and food remains sensational.”

“It was our 34th Wedding Anniversary so we decided to stay there one night along with having dinner. It was SUPER. We have a 8 course tasting dinner from the Chief and the Breakfast was included along with a few items on the menu ”

“Luxury hotel which lives up to its reputation. The room was immaculate, spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff were unfailingly courteous, welcoming and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and both experiences were excellent. The degustation menu was among the best we have had. We will definitely return in the future.”
