We have stayed at many Four seasons including Maui, Hawaii and Fort Lauderdale during peak season and absolutely love the Four Seasons. Not the first time staying at a 5 star resort and know the experience and what to expect. However, at the Four Seasons Bahamas the restaurant/ bar staff need to be trained better. Our first day there our room was not ready till 5 PM. Which is fine delays happen and we get that you are trying to accommodate late check outs. In fact we had to check with the reception desk whether the room is ready. Room was ultimately ready close to 6pm. We were starving and as we also had our two kids with us and needed some space to sit so we went to the Martini bar to enjoy a quick bite. As we sat down and asked for the menu, the waitress is like we dont serve food right now and only after 5pm. The time was 5:02. If the waitress is so quick to respond and basically tell us to buzz off then check the time first on her end. Well we got the menus and thought this was only first day hiccup and moved on. As the property is absolutely gorgeous. The next day for breakfast there was a wait when there were plenty of tables opened. Which is still fine happy to wait. After waiting 15 minutes, we asked the hostess if our table was ready because well plenty of them as I could see were opened. She is like no we will have to wait for the table to get the tables cleaned first and then I can seat you. Ok!! Eventually, our hostess seated us on absolutely wet chairs, it had rained last night and their staff didn’t even check the wet chairs for guests to sit on!!!!!The chairs are not visually wet, it’s those cane/weaved chairs that will make your clothes get wet the longer you sit on it and you don’t feel that they are wet when you sit on it. Both my husband and my shorts were absolutely wet. I made a mental note now that each time to sit on the chairs to make sure it feels completely dry! That night it was Tuesday and so I made reservations through your concierge on the chat service at the Italian restaurant for 8pm! This restaurant is only open on Monday and Tuesday. When we arrived at 8, the hostess was like “we don’t have any reservations under your name and I have 14 guests coming in so won’t be able to accommodate.” When I showed her the chat conversation between myself And Voniya (concierge) she decided to investigate and then she accommodated us. So like if I had not shown the proof we would have been kicked out. The miscommunication was just appalling. If this was 3 tier hotel I don’t expect that much. Whatever I move on. But, when you are spending $15k for Four Seasons there should be a level of professionalism that I do expect. The first instinct of the staff is to say “No” or “we are so busy” and no smile anywhere. Oh my god it’s like basic human acknowledgment. The property is however absolutely beautiful and the ocean.

“We just got back from Four Seasons Bahamas and it was fantastic. The service is what really stood out - every staff member was attentive, warm, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Our butler Tony was exceptional - professional, proactive, and amazing at anticipating everything we needed. The spa was also a highlight, super relaxing and top-notch. The property is beautiful, rooms were spotless, and everything ran smoothly. If you want true luxury with great hospitality, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Just returned from spending 5 nights at the Ocean Club with my wife, son and granddaughter. It was a 5+ experience in every respect. The food was excellent. The room was fabulous with a great view. The grounds, pools and beach were great. BUT it was the staff that amazed us the most. Friendly. Courteous. Helpful. Efficient. Kudos to Cindy at the morning coffee bar, Mary and the rest of the staff. We will be back!”

“Great Spring Break trip! We traveled with our two 6yr olds and had a wonderful time here. From the moment they greeted us, it was a fantastic experience. Did the Rose Island boat trip the 2nd day, that was incredible. Otherwise we stayed on campus and experienced everything Ocean Club had to offer. Had a sub par dinner at Dune (60mins to receive entrees), but went back a second time and it was 1000% better. Ocean Blu restaurant was fantastic, great vibe there, great drinks too! NOTE--> use the butler service if you can, Travis was incredible and made our trip over the top awesome. From giving the kids golf cart rides, to setting up my wife's bday balloons/champagne in our room - he went above and beyond.”

“I recently stayed at The Ocean Club, Four Seasons, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience — a true five-star property in every sense. From the moment I arrived, every single staff member was beyond welcoming, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made me feel valued throughout my stay. The grounds are breathtaking — lush, immaculately maintained, and expansive, offering a serene and luxurious environment at every turn. The service is consistently fast, accurate, and delivered with kindness, creating an effortless and enjoyable experience. The rooms are a masterpiece of comfort and convenience. They are spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and stocked with every amenity you could imagine. The attention to detail ensures both relaxation and luxury, making every moment in the room feel special. The value here is remarkable. Every aspect of the property, service, and experience more than justifies the price, making this stay an investment in pure comfort and indulgence. Pro tip: The rum punch welcome drink is an absolute must — a perfect way to start your stay in paradise! If you’re seeking a flawless five-star experience in the Bahamas, The Ocean Club, Four Seasons is absolutely unmatched. I cannot recommend it highly enough — it exceeded every expectation.”

  • Spa visit only

“The spa at this property is unique in that it has little to no facilities for relaxation pre or post treatment. My massage was technically very good but not exceptional in any way. I was disappointed with the treatment villa. It was badly in need of maintenance or a full remodel. The changing area was tiny with no place to sit, fixtures like toilet paper holder were broken, shower fixtures seemed broken and I was unable to get hot water ( I gave up) I was surprised at the lack of attention to detail. When I went to settle the fee, the system was down leading to some angst among the staff. Overall, I enjoyed seeing the property and Cloisters but when I visit again I will try another location with modern and more comprehensive facilities.”

  • An Exceptional Stay at Four Seasons Ocean Club

    8/10

    cihancoban · Family · 2026-01-25

“In my opinion, Four Seasons Ocean Club is the finest hotel in the area. Its architecture and overall concept truly reflect the local atmosphere. Compared to other hotels in the region, it is a peaceful place where you can truly relax—there is no hustle, noise, or overcrowding. The staff are very professional and helpful, the rooms are spacious, and the restaurant offerings were better and more impressive than I expected. Having a house car service is also a great added touch.”

“This was the third time we stayed at this resort and I must say it got better every time. The resort is gorgeous with all the amenities and services you would expect from the luxury associated with the Four Seasons brand. Due to my wife's special dietary requirements, Ocean Blu was our preferred choice for dinner and chef Ingrid was more than happy to show off her culinary talents. Dune chefs (especially chef Braxton) and staff were excellent and were able to provide special meals within the confines of the menu. What made this trip special, however, were the people that work there as they seemed to remember us and made us feel more like returning favourite family members rather than guests, in particular Darius, Tyrone and Andrew went above and beyond to ensure our special breakfast requests were met. I cannot end this review without giving a special mention to Lance, Tess and Oscar for looking after our every need, ensuring our celebrations were memorable and giving us more reasons to go back again.”

  • Very Special Iconic Property

“We just returned from a romantic week at The Ocean Club, celebrating our anniversary. We are loyal Four Seasons guests and will definitely add this gorgeous property to our winter travel rotation. A few highlights of this property: -Wesley, who treated us to two nights of exceptional service and the most memorable anniversary dinner at Ocean Blu. He even sung our wedding song to us on our anniversary! He is hands down the best service we’ve experienced in all of our travels. -Gorgeous grounds, including their very special Versailles Gardens. -Wonderful biking through the gated Ocean Club neighborhoods. -Perfect white sand walking beach. -Stunning Oceanside infinity pool. We were told by other guests that they may make the ocean side infinity pool 14+ only. Not sure why they would do this as it was quiet and lovely when we were there, and so nice to see young families enjoying as well. We are planning to come back with our 2 grandchildren (2 years and 8 months old), but would not if the main pool is unavailable for families. The family pool tucked behind the tennis courts is lovely, but not where you want to spend the day as it’s quite far from the ocean. You can’t beat the beauty of the infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Seems very short-sided to limit the main pool to adults only when they have an enormous adults only pool overlooking the Versailles garden for those who desire that vibe. If the resort does not welcome children at the main pool, that needs to be well known prior to families booking. Hoping the Ocean Club stays as is, as it is a very special property we hope to enjoy with our family in the future.”

“An exceptional resort. Small and understated but elegant and beautiful. This is the place to stay if you prefer the “less is more”’approach to 5 star luxury resorts. The rooms were lovely but not in your face. Service is friendly, warm and welcoming. The entire place is top quality, from beach to pool to spa to gym. It does NOT have a casino like Atlantis or BahaMar but that’s welcome. We played the nearby golf course, the Ocean Club course and loved it. It is not cheap but if you can afford it, and it’s good enough for James Bond (see Casino Royale), it’s good enough for me and you.”

  • A Truly Extraordinary Stay at Four Seasons Bahamas / The Ocean Club – Our Villa Team Made it Unforgettable!

    10/10

    GTParks · Family · 2025-11-27

“We just returned from an extraordinary week at The Ocean Club, Four Seasons Bahamas, staying as a family of eight (six adults and two children) in one of the Three Bedroom Villas. Each Villa comes with a team of people who deliver flawless service. We can say without hesitation that our Villa Team made this one of the best vacations our family has ever taken. From the moment we arrived, our Villa Team made us feel not just welcomed, but truly at home. This is a long-tenured team of Four Seasons professionals who clearly love what they do and know how to make guests feel like family. Their service was that perfect combination of intuitive and attentive, yet never intrusive. The standout heroes for our family were David, our day butler, and Delano, our evening butler, who were nothing short of exceptional. David seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. He set us up for the day at the beach or pool with coolers full of drinks, arranged activities throughout the resort, and kept everything running seamlessly. He approaches his craft with a permanent smile and joyful attitude that are infectious. Delano carried that same level of care into the evenings, checking in with a quiet professionalism that made every night feel relaxed and effortless. He also makes great cocktails. Together, they were the heartbeat of our stay and the reason everything felt so easy and luxurious. The rest of our Villa Team was equally amazing: - Arvin, head butler, a true leader who sets a high standard and ensured every detail was perfect. Arvin emailed us as soon as we booked the reservation and arranged for groceries and liquor to be stocked just as we wanted it. - Ricardo, butler assistant, always there with a warm smile, driving us where we needed to go in the golf cart or helping with anything we needed around the villa. - Shanara, our breakfast and lunch chef every morning and midday meal was a delight; the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. She expertly managed custom orders each of eight family members for every breakfast. Her “famous cauliflower” was a crowd favorite that we requested many days. - Deangelo, our dinner chef -- the dinners in the villa were outstanding, and honestly better than the dinner we had at Dune, the Michelin-starred restaurant on property. The food was always abundant and delicious across varied themes – Mexican, Italian, Barbecue and Bahamian Sunday Feast. Deangelo also makes some of the best desserts we have ever had – his chocolate panna cota with berries was an inspired masterpiece, and local specialty coconut duff was a treat. - Raynard and Rashaaad, the overnight butlers – it was incredibly reassuring to know that, no matter the hour, there was always someone available and happy to help. And some of our crew were up early. They had the coffee and pastries out for the early risers, and were also good enough to bring one of our family members to the local grocery store for a pre-workout protein drink. - Shavonne and the team of room attendants – our villa was always immaculate, refreshed, and organized without us ever feeling interrupted. The Villa itself is stunning, spacious, and has everything you need for a great vacation. While a bit older, it is very well maintained and cleaned each day. The private beach was a special treat – about 30 steps down to soft white sand, calm beautiful water, and flawless chair and umbrella setup every day. The pool at the villa was fantastic as well, and the team worked hard to raise the temperature of the pool significantly for our family. Between the beach, pool, and a wonderful boat trip arranged through the hotel, we had the perfect mix of relaxation and activity. What truly sets this experience apart, though, is the people. Our Villa Team brought us everything we asked for, often before we even realized we wanted it, and did it all with genuine warmth and professionalism. Their 24-hour coverage meant we were always taken care of, but in a way that felt natural and never overbearing. We left already talking about when we could come back. Our Villa Team turned a beautiful resort into an unforgettable home away from home in paradise for our family.”

“Everyone here is incredibly welcoming and attentive. Whatever you need, whether it’s a toothbrush, in-room dining, or a one-day excursion to nearby islands, they’ll make it happen for you. Getting around Paradise Island is effortless thanks to their excellent drivers and transportation service. They’re always happy to share great recommendations for things to do and places to visit. The facilities are truly five-star, and so is the service. You’ll always return to a spotless room, perfectly prepared for your maximum comfort.”

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Pure Paradise at The Ocean Club

“Even just stepping onto the grounds of The Ocean Club feels like entering another world. Nestled on the quiet side of Paradise Island, this resort perfectly blends luxury with natural beauty. Lush gardens, oceanfront infinity pools, and elegant colonial-style architecture make every view picture-perfect. The staff are warm, attentive, and incredibly professional — even visitors stopping by for lunch or a walk through the gardens are treated like VIPs. You can feel the calm energy here; it’s the kind of place that instantly slows your heart rate and clears your mind. The Versailles-inspired gardens are something truly special — a peaceful oasis of palm trees, reflecting pools, and historic statues. It’s like a mini escape to Europe right in the Caribbean. Add to that a breathtaking white-sand beach with clear turquoise water, and it becomes almost unreal. Though I haven’t stayed overnight (yet!), this is one of those rare places that feels magical from the moment you arrive. Whether you’re enjoying a meal at DUNE by Jean-Georges or simply walking along the shoreline, The Ocean Club reminds you what paradise truly looks like. Can’t wait to return — and this time, for a longer stay.”

“The location of The Ocean Club is hard to beat, the food is very good although quite pricey - your food bill will rise quite rapidly. The staff are very friendly and helpful although the person that showed me to my room on arrival was a little frosty after I made a remark that waiting and hour for my room to become available was not very good especially after a long flight. The room that I stayed in was nice but I’d say if this is the same for all similar rooms, then they’re about due for a refurb as they are starting to look a bit tired and some of the bath fittings were definitely in need of replacing. All in all I think a four out of five is probably a little on the generous side and would rate nearer a 3.5 but the grounds, beach and general location is exceptional. The gym is very good. One more checked off the list. ”

“Stayed 5 nights as a family of 5 in 2 interconnecting ocean front rooms Welcome at the hotel was terrific - friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated in style but very comfortable and a good size and as we were on the ground floor we had lovely outdoor seating which as the hotel faces north is out of the sun. Our rooms were in the last block which was blissfully quiet Food wise a little mixed to be honest Dune - very disappointed at dinner and breakfast with the quality of food and the service. Several times made a mess of the gluten free parts of the order (despite multiple discussions on this point). The breakfast could do with some simpler lighter options but free Coffee and croissants are available in the martini bar if you want something small) Ocean Blu - wonderful service and excellent food both at lunch and dinner Martini Bar - excellent service and lovely drinks . Family enjoyed the beach where the service was excellent and the kids enjoyed swimming and snorkelling further up the beach. We also did some jet ski which is payable in cash directly to the provider The shuttle service to Atlantis (for the waterpark where entry is free) and the golf club (where we used the range and played some rounds) is very efficient Highly enjoyable and highly recommended”
