We spent five days at the Rosewood Bermuda, and it was exceptional. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they clearly care about the guest experience. The facilities are excellent—well-appointed rooms, attentive housekeeping. We ate at each restaurant (Georgia in the Brasserie was a star) and food and atmosphere were wonderful. The pools, the fitness center, and the grounds were all outstanding. We'll definitely return.
The staff were exceptional, attending to all of our needs and going above and beyond.

Best property in Bermuda

“Our February stay at the Rosewood Bermuda was exceptional. The property feels wonderfully secluded, with beautifully maintained and very private grounds that make it a pleasure to explore.
The standout feature of our visit was the service. Every interaction felt genuinely warm and personal. Bernie, Izzy, and Troy in particular went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
The room felt fresh, refined, and thoughtfully designed, with a stunning harbor view that made it difficult to leave the balcony each morning.
If there is one minor consideration, it’s the location. The resort is a bit removed from Hamilton, so factor that into plans.
Overall, Rosewood Bermuda delivers a serene, and highly personalized experience. We will return.”
A very disappointing stay

“My husband and I booked with British Airways Holidays to spend 11 days at Rosewood over Christmas and New Year. While the standard of the accommodation was good, the overall experience was disappointing. The service level is poor, for such an expensive hotel. In particular:
1. Our harbour view room was at the bottom of the complex with 110 steps to go up to breakfast each morning. At no stage of our booking was this made clear to us - and we are both over 80 years old. The room was also quite damp and there was a cockroach in the middle of the bathroom floor one morning
2. It took 4 days of negotiating with an ever rotating reception staff to negotiate a 'complimentary' upgrade to a room in the main hotel
3. The service - and the food - in the set Afternoon Tea was appalling. We had booked a table for 4 people at 4pm the following day. The table wasn't ready and in fact never became available. It took an hour to get seated at an inferior set of small tables and a further 15 minutes to get someone to produce the sandwiches, which had clearly been made some time previously and were almost inedible. All at a cost of USD 320 for 4 people.
4. The worst part of all was finding upon our return home that my husband's credit card - which had been submitted on arrival to cover incidental expenditure - had been blocked to the tune of USD 12,000. This despite the fact that we had paid the room charge in full well before our arrival and had settled the incidental expenses upon departure. We complained that this practice had at no time been explained to us and we had certainty never agreed it. It took several hours of phone calls and exchange of emails to try and get the charges unblocked. They were finally unblocked, day by day, 11 days after our departure.
5. The final insult was that we found that our credit card had been charged USD6.00 retrospectively for a Coca Cola from the minibar in our room. This was timed at 10 hours after we had checked out. We didn't take a single item from the minibar during our entire stay. This has still not been refunded.
We have submitted all these complaints to the hotel, which has hidden behind their 'systems and processes' and has made no attempt to address them. We would counsel any prospective guests to ensure that they understand the hotel's rules and regulations before deciding to book.”

“Very relaxing stay at the Rosewood. Whilst we aren’t golfers we enjoyed the beach club at the hotel and took advantage of the shuttle to get there. Gorgeous big room with lovely view. Dud t find reception or concierge the most friendly but restaurant staff were all very good.”
Thanksgiving Weekend Relaxation

“For a 40th Birthday treat, my wife and I spent Thanksgiving weekend in Bermuda and have zero regrets about our stay at the Rosewood. Elegant Christmas decorations created a fun, festive atmosphere to go along with our warm, beach weekend. Right away, the hotel upgraded us to a room that was so nice we actually went back to the front desk to check that it was the right room (we seriously walked in and our first thought was that it was TOO nice!). The bathtub was enormous, and we had our own private balcony with enough space to gather a medium sized group of people - which was a nice luxury for just the two of us. Every single member of the staff was friendly and made us feel taken care of. One day, as we made our way back from taking the bus into Hamilton, a hotel shuttle driver saw us walking back from the bus stop, and made sure to stop and pick us up so we wouldn’t have to walk. Even though it was the final days of November, the beaches and pools were still nice and comfortable enough for swimming, and it was a lovely stay overall.
Rosewood Conservatory Bar
Relaxing Crystals!!
Not enough can be said about how much we love this place and the wonderful people running it. We stayed at the Rosewood for Thanksgiving weekend to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday, and to end each night, we capped off our evening here. We also had afternoon tea on our second day, which was excellent. Instead of getting the scones, sandwiches and desserts all at once, they timed out everything so we were able to enjoy each item slowly. And this made perfect sense once the desserts came out - otherwise, we might have skipped everything and went straight for all of those delectable pastries. And while we enjoyed the atmosphere and food, it was actually the staff of the Conservatory Bar that made it our favorite stop over the weekend. If you get the privilege of having Gusto/Yaba as your waiter, you will be left in stitches. He has some of the best stories, and will make you feel relaxed and full of smiles throughout every sitting. Charlotte was the first and last person we saw at every visit, and while we were just tourists, she made us feel as if we had been local regulars for years. And if you are lucky enough to visit on a day when Izzy is tending bar, you are in for a treat. Aside from being an excellent mixologist (they even have a drink named for her on the menu!), she is literally and figuratively an artist. Going to Bermuda for a birthday probably should have felt like a treat on its own, but Izzy made our weekend something special that we will always remember. Thank you to the staff of the Conservatory Bar! You are the best!”

“Fabulous all the way around! Lovely rooms, good restaurant selection and private beach/pool area is so enjoyable. Only slight drawback is the shuttle to beach could be a bit more responsive or perhaps run on a timed schedule (every 30 minutes?) - would just be easier to plan and less waiting.”

“The property is in a beautiful location, but is showing its age and lack of attention: Noticed chipped paint on many surfaces. The signage is very poor.
My final bill was very confusing. It had many erroneous restaurant entries and then reversals. I spent 15 minutes trying to get a straight answer from the front desk, only to be told after several calls that they were due to “glitches“. The clerk who checked me out was highly annoyed that I dared to question my bill. The front desk needs to work on its communication and interpersonal skills.”

“We found the Rosewood beautiful and everything we hoped it would be. From check in to the day we left, staff was excellent and helpful. Our suite came with our own golf cart to get us around, which was needed because of the many steps and steep paths. The Beach Club was very enjoyable with the infinity pool area, the stunning beach and the casual bar and restaurant. Taxis are always ready to take you into town. Overall a great experience!”

“This property does not deserve 5 star status. While the property itself is beautiful - the staff are untrained lazy and rude. Unable to complete basic tasks such as booking taxis. We would not stay here again and would recommend the VIP Access status is revoked as there is nothing VIP about this hotel.”

“Late review but wanted to do this before I forgot. My wife and I have stayed at Rosewood Tuckers Point 3 years in a row now--- typically going first week of October. We absolutely love it. While timing is a little bit of a risk with hurricane season... I guess we have been lucky so far with storms either arriving before arrival or after departure---- beautiful sunny/warm days so far each stay.
First off- property is the nicest on the island. We stay at St Regis the year it opened and Loren one other year... Rosewood is a level above these... especially with the sheer size of property, on site restaurants, amenities, etc.
We always stay in a harbour view room or suite. Love these rooms- down closer to the water and feel more bungalow style than hotel. Just be aware they are down a sizable staircase from the main hotel (maybe 75 stairs or so). Certainly doable but something to be aware of. Suite our first year (babymoon) was nice- it came with a golf kart. The other years we paid a daily fee to rent one as a nice to have (to and from beach club at your leisure, dinners on property, tennis/golf). The shuttles are absolutely sufficient to get around but the gold kart is nice to have. We usually use taxis to get around to other restaurants, etc- though we have done the twizzy route- which was a ton of fun, as well as renting a scooter for a couple days of visit to go to downtown Hamilton, other beaches, etc.
The beach club is really great. A couple more pools, lunch restaurant, dinner options (including above average (albeit overpriced) sushi), and pretty good beachside and poolside service. Facilities overall very nice. If you head right from the beach club along the water, you can walk for a couple miles at low tid- past mid-ocean club and to some basically deserted gorgeous beach. The hotel itself has 2 pools- one adults facing the harbour, and one larger family style pool. Both have plenty of seating. We found the adults pool was always too hot to sit at though with the sun blazing down and limited coverage. Water in all pools always nice and warm. as was the ocean.
Breakfast everyday was great- order from a menu and everything we have tried has been excellent. Lunches we usually eat by pool or beach club. For dinners- Sul Verde is probably our favorite, followed by beach club (with sushi), room service at least one night (prompt and accurate), and then at least 1 night off property. We have dined at Island Brasserie for dinner once or twice. It was fine- ambiance and prices are steakhouse - its better than STK at STR but we probably wouldn't go back. Wellington on the menu was underwhelming. What I will say is go to to the weekly Rum tasting- its amazing. The bartender who runs it is awesome and very knowledgeable. They have some exclusive batch rooms made just for the hotel to taste (they also serve on menu at dinner). I honestly learned to look "good" rums here. The bottle from hotel is VERY expensive if purchased there- they have a similar Goslings reserve limited edition in the store in Hamilton or duty free on way out that is less than 1/2 the price and also great.
Since we go in Oct and not heart of summer, we miss the offered sunset and snorkel cruises sadly. Not sure if the watersports center is more active/better in prime summer, but it always feels lackluster when we are there. They have kayaks, SUP, etc for free and sailing for a charge. I bring my own mask and fins to go diving usully (off property- another miss) and the snorkel in front of the hotel on the habrour has some nice fish and coral. They have a program where they are working on growing coral and its cool to see. Usually dive with blue hole divers- although diving in Bermuda is generally not great.
We always make use of the gym and spa. Gym is decent sized but can get pretty crowded. The spa is quite nice- have had hit or miss service there though. Our first year my massage was mediocre at best- subsequent years have been better and its a nice facility... it does book up though so recommend making reservations in advance of arrival.”
