    “Out of this world location! The great room where they serve brunch and dinner has amazing views overlooking the beach. Our beach front room was lovely, very comfortable with a great balcony also overlooking the beach. You could literally spend all day watching the surfers and then the sunset in the evening! Food served in the great room was high quality. No need to leave but if you want to Tofino is an easy 10 mins drive.”

    “This is such a wonderful place; highly recommend! Kaya on reception / front desk/ guest services was AMAZING! Over and above anything I’ve experienced.. we had a crisis and she was calm and a solution finder!! A gem of a team member at the hotel going way over and above… The room was stunning. The food was delicious.. all round 10/10”

    “The resort is very beautiful and has similar vibes to a White Lotus location. Noticed majority of staff are mostly travellers themselves (Europe, Asia, etc.) which makes the experience quite cool although a varying degree of service quality. There were a few instances where my girlfriend and I were ignored and given attitude although very happily tipped and were respectful the entire time. When it costs $800/night to stay at the Lodge I would hope at the very least service without eye rolling and under the breath grunts and groans.”

    “Stayed in Tofino for 3 nights and booked this based on recommendation from a friend. Room - we went for the penthouse room which is in the main building and overlooks the beach. Amazing views. However, the main restaurant is directly below the room and so is the speaker for the music they play Last night we had to go down to reception at 11:10pm to ask them to turn it off (last dinner bookings are 9pm and there weren’t even any diners in there!). Added to that the room is right above the patio which has seating and fires so one night there was a group making noise there till 1:30am and the night after until 3am….so basically we had no good nights of sleep through our stay. Potentially better to not stay in main hotel. When I was checking in there was a couple complaining to reception about noise too so maybe this is a recurring issue. On arrival in the room I had preordered a charcuterie board but the only cutlery supplied was one teaspoon! And despite being a room made for 3 people there were only two of all Drinkware, robes, coats and 5 hangers. Sometimes these small details can make a difference…especially when you’re paying $$$. Also no AC …so room was hot but we had to keep windows closed because of the people outside! Positives of room…comfy bed (although duvet had no cover on and was just sandwiched between two sheets) , lots of drawer space, HH waterproof coats to use and umbrellas and well sized Fabulous shower. Surf Club - we enjoyed it in here having a morning coffee and croissant whilst playing pool. Staff nice and friendly and also where we sorted wet suit and board hire from. Spa - had massage one afternoon which was lovely. Free washing machine and dryer facilities- really appreciated! Food - I felt food options were a little limited. They have an outdoor eatery but that only works if the weather is ok and you can brave being outside. Main restaurant is quite posh (we ate there one night and will review separately) and surf club is very casual. Ample parking. 10 minute drive in to Tofino. So we left with mixed feelings. Lots of really good things about the hotel but I think three bad night’s sleep definitely didn’t help…particularly as we were expecting this location to be an oasis of calm!”

    “An absolutely stunning setting. We travelled all over Canada this summer and it is such a beautiful country, but the highlight of our trip was staying at Long Beach Lodge. The cottage we had was just gorgeous and wonderful to relax in after a long drive. The restaurant was amazing with a great range of food and drinks and the views were spectacular over the beach. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and would highly recommend this venue. Will definitely be looking forward to returning soon.”
