    “Loved our stay at the Union Club, a grand old building. The location is very convenient for downtown Victoria and close to the Harbour Air seaplane terminal. We had a very comfortable room, and even had steps to get into the high bed! We had breakfast there one morning, which was very good. We would have had dinner there in the evening, but they were fully booked both evenings - so reserve in advance if appropriate. There was an excellent restaurant just over the street - 10 Acres Bistro. Be aware that there is a dress code if you want to dine at the Club, or use the reading room, library etc. It's not too onerous, and the details clear with the booking information, but bear it in mind if travelling with light luggage on the seaplane. The reception staff were very helpful. Would definitely go back if we return to Victoria.”
