My wife and I treated our entire family including the grandkids to a long weekend at the lodge and had a fantastic time. the room was very nice and well kept. the staff were nice and friendly. There was something to do for everyone, the restaurant was a little expensive but the pizza is reasonable and really good. We would recommend GF Lodge for anyone.

“I had never been to Great Wolf Lodge Niagara and what a surprise. It’s like 5 parks in 1! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!I thought it was just the waterpark but they have the arcade, mini golf, laser tag, bowling, magic quest, story time, dance parties, story time, and much more.We didn’t even leave the hotel for 4 days straight cause there was so much to do.Liam is currently obsessed with Netflix’s Floor is Lava so the frog pond / Lilly pads challenge were his DREAM.The food was great, the rooms had a lot of space (we got the Loft Suite that fit 6 of us MORE THAN comfortably), and the staff super friendly. If you’re thinking of going with your kids…HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! PS. You can access the water park from 9am even if your check in is at 4pm ;)”
Fantastic - But Dated/worn out rooms.

“Great Parking. Great Location. Not quite walking distance from anything, but pretty central and easy to get to.
Check in was efficient, but overwhelming. Understanding we booked at peak chaos over christmas holidays, It is admirable how they're able to get people in. The Kids and their Mom moved forward into the lobby, and I got our arm bands.
There's plenty of reviews about this hotel, so I'll honestly just focus on the bad, of which there isn't much at all!
The rooms are dated. I know they're supposed to look rustic, but the carpet changes color in the corners, the TV has massive bezels and isn't very bright, and the mattresses have depressions in them where people sleep. There's also very little edge support so if you get close to the edge - Whoop You're off the bed.
My folks room was no better, with a loud droning noise all night. My mom borrowed my airpods and slept until the battery died.
Speaking of their room, the fitted sheet had holes in the corner, and the mattress had a protector on it with holes the size of a shoe. It was pointless to have it on there. The beds were also rediculously bouncy. If your partner moves and you're a light sleeper - You WILL wake up.
One of the elevators was out of commission. They should have had a guard in there because despite the sign saying the kids waving wands should take the stairs.. they all clogged up the single remaining elevator.
Last negative thing is the one time we did the buffet, we had to wait 15-20 minutes in line for each time we wanted to get food. Buffets are supposed to be quick! Was hard to stuff our faces and get value when getting 2 plates took the better part of an hour. The food was just ok. the brisket was GREAT.
Now, thats a lot of complaining.
We had a TON of fun. All the staff were AMAZING. We had a fantastic time. The above is just nitpicking - Nothing detracted that seriously from our time, and the kids ABSOLUTELY, HANDS DOWN, FREAKING LOVED EVERY MOMENT.
Adults... Were ready for a vacation after. lol. You go here for the kids!”

“My family has just recently returned from our third trip to the Niagara Falls Great Wolf Lodge. The first two times we were there, it was great and the service was amazing. This past time (first week of January 2026), the service was poor. The employes were all miserable and service was excruciatingly slow.
Our car was stolen out of the parking lot within 2 hours of when we got there (but did not know until check-out time when we went to load our things). The manager said that it never happens, yet the police said they are there weekly. The hotel offered no assistance. We were left to find a ride as every rental place I contacted was closed on Sundays. It was another 5 hours before we were able to leave. I would have expected at the very least a complimentary lunch.
If you choose to go, don't take a new car and be prepared to wait in long line ups for everything including food, activities and the waterpark itself.”
Wonderful Experience with Grandchildren

“We went on. two night mini-vacation to Niagara Falls Great Wolf Lodge from Jan 1 - 3, 2026 and our stay was spectacular. Every staff member, from the person who checked us in to the person greeting you at the waterpark door, was friendly and helpful. While it was busy over the Holidays, we were able to do all of the activities we wanted with our family, including 3 grandchildren aged 2 - 4.
We had two Majestic Bear Suites, side by side, for 6 adult and three children. This worked out perfect for us.
We ate in the Water Park and at Northwood Pizza and the food was good. We especially like the chicken wings at Northwood. The food was reasonably priced. (Large pepperoni pizza $19.99) We chose not to eat at the buffet restaurant because of allergies with some of our group. Be mindful of peak meal times. Our little ones eat a bit early, so we were fine, but we did notice a line-up during peak times.”
Wasted time waiting in lines.

“This place is a zoo. The line ups are tremendously long and they are not able to handle the capacity. There is no point in going to the water park during the day as the line ups take 1 hour to get on one ride. The restaurant is even worse. I waited over an hour with my kids for brunch. Every thing is extremely expensive if you chose to kill time outside of the water park. The rooms are ok- I stayed in kids Kamp (bunk beds) which are super small - careful if you have tall kids. The pull out sleeping couch is not good at all. My son couldn’t sleep on it and neither could I. I would not consider it as a bed.”

“This was our 5th time visiting Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls, always at Christmas, with our four boys. We’ve returned year after year because we’ve generally had good experiences. Unfortunately, this year was a major disappointment.
While the rooms were nicely redone and look modern, the comfort didn’t match the appearance. The pillows were awful — honestly like sleeping on rocks, which made getting a decent night’s sleep difficult after long days with kids.
Beyond the room, it felt like the lodge simply could not handle the volume of guests. Lines were everywhere — food, attractions, towel pickup — even basic necessities required long waits. We used online ordering at the restaurants, hoping to save time, but still waited close to an hour for food.
The overall impression was that profit and packing in large crowds have become a higher priority than customer service and guest experience. Christmas is a predictable busy period, yet staffing and organization clearly didn’t keep up.
For the amount of money we spend, this experience didn’t feel worth it. Premium pricing should come with premium service, and that just wasn’t the case this year.
Sadly, this trip has made us rethink returning. For the same money, we’ll be going to the beach next year instead.”
Never again

“Let's start with the good things: room was spacious and comfortable; food, service, ambiance in the Barnwood Restaurant - very (very!) good; parking was easy, there was an ice scraper provided to help out after the icy rain overnight.
And the bad things ... room not ready till 16:02 (check-in starts at 16:00), no space in the lobby for all people waiting for the check-in, not enough chairs, people sitting in their coats on the carpet surrounded by their luggage - total mess, very disappointing. Complete mayhem around the breakfast time: not enough tables, not enough staff, food badly displayed, some food (i.e. eggs benedict, some fruit) obviously old/not fresh, some silly limits on juice and milk for kids - terrible experience!
The water attractions a bit old-fashion, the same applies to the decor - the place reminds of some American cassinos from 80ties and 90ties - it's really time to modernize it in all aspects of the operation. To be honest - never again ... unless we learn about changes and improvements.”
Christmas week at great wolf lodge Dec 20-26th

“Christmas week at great wolf lodge was good! Wish more Christmas themed events! They did have roasting marshmallows, snow falling 3 different times during the day.
It was good the food wasn't Christmas themed much unfortunately very minimal to the Christmas season standards dinner at the buffet.
but the decorations was subpar. I really enjoyed it especially at night! Only problem is you have to get wait listed for the food, and unfortunately if you have a disability or needing handicap accessible you will have to wait in line then get to the front to check into for dinner to be asked to wait for "selected tables" with person without needs were using. So that seem very unfair it that seems to have to wait twice as long for a having someone with disabilities. Last may 2025 we did NOT have this issue only this time.
The gingerbread house is VERY small and you only got 45 mins plus you have to pay $25.00 plus TAX = 34.00 something for it as a donation for charity. Plus your dinner cost.
CON - Santa photos you have to buy and it's 12.99 for digital but I'm not sure if they use AI to enhance them because my son had an extra eyeball added and they refused to refund us after noticing.”
Be aware of the credit card policy

“I stayed at GWL and learned they require the EXACT credit card used for booking to be presented at check in - even if it was replaced due to fraud, or it expired - they will credit the original card and charge the card you present. I wasn’t expecting this and it caused a major headache.
My original card had been compromised, and even though I brought my new card and ID, they credited the old one and charged the new one $675. Two weeks and 4 phone calls later, the credit still hadn’t reached my account.
Just a heads up to double check before you go and DONT buy a stay as a gift for someone!”

“So clean and tons to do, great for all ages! No shortage of activities!
My only comment is the kitchen staff should have hair nets or at the very least tie their hair in a bun instead of just a ponytail.. waiting for my food at the pool restaurant this afternoon I almost changed my mind about eating”

“Victoria from the buffet style restaurant is absolutely amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable of hospitality industry. She was so lovely to our sister (it was her birthday) and Victoria made sure our sister had an amazing time. Every meal we had she would sing her happy birthday and made our sister feel so special. Victoria is an absolute star!!!”

“Self explanatory. This place is awesome fun for the entire family. Rooms are clean, facility is clean, pool area is clean, and staff are as friendly as they come.
Buffet meals are actually quite good and worth the upgrade in my opinion. Upgraded rooms I don't think are worth the additional cost, however to each their own on that one.”

“I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my family’s visit to your facility. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by both discriminatory treatment and safety concerns.
During our visit, a staff member treated us with unacceptable rudeness. While we were already in line for the slide, we were told—without explanation—that we had to go back and wait again for 40 minutes. When I asked politely about the line system and colors, the staff gave no clear reason, only insisting we return to the beginning. With three young children (ages 7–8) to take care of, it was extremely stressful and unfair. The complete lack of explanation made the situation feel discriminatory, as though there was no reason other than who we were.
Additionally, the atmosphere of the water facility raised serious health concerns. The chemical odor from the pool was stronger than anything I have ever experienced worldwide. In the hot tub, several guests were coughing, and the disinfectant fumes were so intense that they caused eye irritation and difficulty breathing. When I asked staff about it, I again received no response.
I received only offered a discount on a future visit.Given the seriousness of the discrimination we faced and the unsafe conditions, this is not an acceptable resolution.
I urge your team to reflect on this situation seriously. Discrimination and lack of accountability should have no place in any customer experience.
We recently had an issue with our stay at Great Wolf Lodge and contacted the Guest Communications team for support. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was very disappointing.
Even after providing all the requested information, including our check-in details and booking confirmation, the case was abruptly closed with the explanation of “inactivity.” This was frustrating, especially since I had already replied with the documentation they asked for.
It feels like the support team did not properly review my response, and instead of helping resolve the issue, they simply closed the case. For a family resort that emphasizes making memories, this was a very careless way to handle a guest’s concern.
I hope Great Wolf Lodge takes this feedback seriously and improves the way their customer support follows up on cases.”

“Our stay at Great Wolf Lodge Niagara was fantastic! The indoor water park is perfect for both kids and adults —many slides, wave pool, and fun activities. The rooms were clean, cozy, and designed with families in mind. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and there were plenty of dining options on-site, which made everything super convenient.
Highly recommend for a fun family getaway!”
