“This villa deserves 10 stars ! from the moment we checked in to the moment we left we loved every moment. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are so comfortable. This is a boutique property that prides its self on service. The breakfast has everything you could ever want. There is free parking in the back of the hotel. They have a lovely garden to sit in and the town is steps away. We toured all the Normandy beaches and we saw lots of tours going from this location. We wanted to stay longer and will be back soon! Thank you for making our 25th wedding anniversary so special !”

“The hotel was impressive and the rooms expansive and well-equipped. The location was excellent for our trips to all of the D-Day beaches and museums, and a short walk netted us many places for dinner. The breakfast was fantastic including your typical European breakfast and other additional items such as Quiche Lorraine and a variety of fresh fruits.”

“Villa Lara was a wonderful choice for our brief stay in Bayeux. The hotel staff was absolutely wonderful, especially Mariel, the concierge. We arrived late, so we ate the buffet dinner at the hotel. It was perfect, so much so that we ate there again the second night. The staff contacted us when we left an item of clothing behind; so kind and efficient!”

“Staff was exceptional from first greeting to loading our rental car and saying goodbye. They anticipated our needs and acted quickly while being very friendly.
Room was large, elegant, and tastefully decorated. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
The location was also perfect as the guided tours for DDay picked up across the lawn from the lobby. We travel a lot and we will stay here again.”
