Our 5 night stay at the Cretan Dream Resort was excellent.
Nothing to fault about the Resort only that Stalos doesn't offer a great choice for evening dining and there isn't much of an atmosphere either.
Hire a car for a short drive, 7.5km, into neighbouring Platanias for a wide selection of excellent restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment.

“The reception area doesn't look very nice, but once you go inside the property and grounds, it's another world. The property grounds were beautiful with good amenities like a spa, gym, and pools. There is a pool bar and a restaurant on-site. Parking was free and plentiful. The room we stayed in was spacious with a large balcony to enjoy the ocean view and to have a glass of wine with the lovely ocean breeze. Very good options for breakfast. The area is quiet and right across the end of a beach. All in all, a very nice stay. I would consider staying here again if I come back to the area. ”

“From the moment we arrived at Cretan Dream Resort, we knew we were in for something special. The warmth and friendliness of the staff set the tone for our entire stay — every member of the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared.
Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had stunning sea views. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great mix of local and international dishes — every meal was a highlight. A perfect place to relax and enjoy Crete. We’ll definitely be back!”

“There is something really weird, they have a picture of dead person at the reception with a very strong smelly candle burning all day long... and the other point that made me give a low rate is that they cannot put any infrastructure at the beach in front of the hotel because it is a protected area for turtles. It should be informed in advance about the protectec area for the guests that are making reservations.”
