    “O palazzo é interessantíssimo, o mobiliário contemporâneo contrasta com o palazzo antigo e suas marcas do tempo. Cada ambiente é poético e único. Os funcionários são super prestativos e atenciosos. Adoramos nossa estadia, é realmente uma experiência, até mesmo a oscilaçao da liz artificial é proposital para remeter as luzes de velas na época do palazzo.”

    “The architecture and courtyard at Palazzo Daniele are truly magnificent, though we didn't entirely find our rhythm with the property. We found the culinary concept a bit difficult to navigate, as the menu is identical for both lunch and dinner. This made choosing appropriate portion sizes and food styles complicated depending on the time of day, and we felt the pricing was quite high for what was offered. Our stay in Junior Suite No. 1 was also a bit disappointing. It felt rather bland compared to the rest of the hotel, missing unique furniture, artwork, or character. The lighting was also a challenge, with only two flickering bulbs by the bedside. It is an incredible space to look at, but it missed the mark on comfort and value for us (especially at almost 600€/night without breakfast). Additionally, for a boutique property of this caliber, there seemed to be very little connection or implication with the village of Gagliano del Capo itself. The hotel feels somewhat isolated from its surroundings and not like a home in the way it is advertised, which is a shame because the village is absolutely worth exploring—especially local gems like the historic Tessitura Giaquinto weaving factory, local restaurants (Passatempo) and bakeries. Ultimately, we are nevertheless happy to have visited this unique property, but it unfortunately was not the highlight of our trip that we imagined it would be.”

    “Very personal experience, Daniele is a destination in and by itself. Staff is supremely friendly and the cooking is homey and high quality. The property is exceptionally beautiful and rooms are modern and comfortable, yet authentic and quant at the same time. Worth a trip.”

    “Palazzo Daniele surpassed all of our expectations! The atmosphere is understated yet magical, each of the design details thoughtfully considered to maintain the historical aspect of the original building while bringing a fresh eye. What blew us away, however, was the staff: each person was kind, attentive, friendly and open and we were introduced to everyone, including the talented chef and members of the kitchen team. We ate every dinner of our three-night stay at the hotel and were impressed with the ingredients and variety. A breakfast menu item -- "The Perfect Egg" -- became a favorite and lived up to its name! While we were there during the quiet/cooler period of late October, the weather was sunny and mild. We used the dry sauna in the evenings which was a true treat (there is also a steam room). The pool looked inviting and sunny -- perfect for warmer days. And the gardens were serene. Parking across the street on city streets was easy (be mindful of the painted lines indicating it's ok to park!) and we were 1-2 hours away from most of our desired day trips to Lecce, Otranto and Gallipoli (45 minutes away). We would love to come back during the summer to explore and were jealous of the various group retreats that are lucky enough to call Palazzo Daniele home!”
