“Die Abholung, die Fahrt mit dem Speedboot, die Lage, die Sauberkei, das Essen, der Strand, das Personal, die Betten einfach alles war top! Kann gar nichts anderes schreiben. Für uns ist es klar, das wir nächstes mal Arena Beach Hotel wieder wählen werden. Zum essen im Hotelrestaurant habe ich ein besonders hohes Lob. Dieser Koch kann super kochen, desshalb haben wir den ganzen Aufenthalt dort gegessen. Auf einer Resortinsel isst man nicht so gut und wir waren schon auf einigen Inseln. Bitte lieber Koch, bleib da wo du bist bis wir wieder kommen 😃”

“The experience in Arena hotels in Maafushi was amazing starting with the arranged transportation from Male Airpot to the island then Epshiba and Majitha making our experience better giving us a better room because of availability and also the day of the check up they were providing a extended check out if they didn’t need the room or a room to shower because our flight was 6h after we supposed to leave the room. Recommend to spend time in their beach, is a really nice spot and the food and drinks were cheaper than we expected. Also we booked the trips with them, just to say we saved 1/3 per person compared to what we saw in internet.
We will come back 100%, thank you!”

“Vanaf het moment dat we bij de ferry werden opgehaald, was alles perfect geregeld. We kwamen tegelijk met veel andere gasten aan, maar daar was het hotel duidelijk goed op voorbereid. Het inchecken verliep snel en soepel.
In eerste instantie kregen we twee kamers in de buurt van het zwembad. Omdat we daar wat geluidsoverlast ervaarden, hebben we dit aangegeven. Zonder problemen kregen we direct twee kamers in het nieuwere gebouw. Dat was echt een geweldige service.
Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een speciale vermelding voor Hashim van de buitenbar – een echte topper! Ook Bernard (hopelijk schrijf ik zijn naam goed) was fantastisch. Maar eerlijk gezegd geldt dit voor het hele team; iedereen doet zijn uiterste best om je een geweldig verblijf te bezorgen.
Wij verbleven hier vier nachten na een rondreis van twee weken door Sri Lanka. Voor ons was dat de perfecte afsluiting en precies lang genoeg. We hadden bovendien prachtig zonnig weer.
Op het eiland wordt op verschillende plekken gebouwd. Persoonlijk hebben wij daar nauwelijks hinder van ondervonden. Maafushi is een klein eiland, waardoor alles gemakkelijk lopend bereikbaar is.
Wij verbleven hier met drie volwassenen en drie pubers. Wij houden van een levendige sfeer en Maafushi voldeed daarin volledig aan onze verwachtingen. Er is genoeg te doen (qua watersport) er zijn volop restaurants en excursies, en juist daardoor was het voor onze pubers een ideale bestemming. Voor wie op zoek is naar een ontspannen vakantie met wat meer gezelligheid en voorzieningen dan op een resort, is Maafushi wat ons betreft echt een aanrader.
Wij zouden dit hotel dan ook zeker aanbevelen!”

“All crew was helpfull special thanks to Anjali, Sajii, Sojib, Manik, Rithika. Hotel was so clean, thier restuarant has same prices with other but better service ofcourse. Very attractive infinity pool. lastly the location close to water sports, activities and port. If i go again i would stay here.”

“I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel and would not recommend it to families.
The room was not suitable for a family. The balcony was extremely small and not usable for sitting comfortably. Although I had booked a sea-view room, the overall condition of the room was disappointing. It was not properly cleaned, and the bathroom was poorly maintained. Several bathroom fittings were broken, including the hand shower for the toilet, which caused significant inconvenience.
The breakfast was also below expectations. During my three-day stay, the menu was almost the same every day. The bread was not fresh, the quality and taste of the food were poor, and there was very little variety. There were also very limited Asian breakfast options.
Overall, the hotel did not meet basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, or food quality. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others.”
