    “Had everything you needed. Perfect place for a couple a baby. Food, plenty of beach, sunbeds, good rooms, facilities for kids, baby friendly, a medical clinic. Not too crowded, plenty of room for a chilled holiday. All the staff were friendly and went above and beyond.”

    “Malheureusement, notre expérience au Long Beach Mauritius a été très décevante, surtout pour un établissement qui se présente comme un 5 étoiles. Je tiens malgré tout à souligner un point très positif : le personnel mauricien est absolument adorable. Souriant, agréable, serviable et toujours prêt à aider. C’est clairement ce qui a rendu notre séjour plus agréable. En revanche, une partie du reste du personnel est beaucoup moins agréable : accueil froid, peu de sympathie et un service qui n’est clairement pas à la hauteur de ce que l’on attend d’un hôtel de ce standing. Concernant la chambre, elle est jolie et agréable au premier abord, mais plusieurs détails sont franchement inacceptables pour un 5 étoiles. Nous avons constaté de la moisissure au niveau de la douche ainsi que sur le cadre dans les toilettes, un trou dans les draps et également un peignoir abîmé. Ce sont des détails qui peuvent sembler anodins, mais dans un hôtel 5 étoiles, on s’attend à un niveau de finition et d’entretien irréprochable. Autre grosse déception : la gestion du paiement par American Express. Lors de la réservation, il n’était pas possible de payer avec Amex. On nous avait pourtant confirmé qu’il serait possible de régler avec cette carte à notre arrivée, sans problème particulier. À notre arrivée, on nous annonce finalement qu’un frais supplémentaire serait appliqué si nous payions avec Amex. Et surtout, on nous explique que si nous payons en Visa, le montant sera débité en euros, alors qu’avec Amex, le paiement serait effectué en roupies mauriciennes. Une situation qui aurait clairement dû être annoncée et expliquée au préalable, surtout lorsqu’on nous avait assuré que le paiement par Amex ne poserait aucun problème. Au final, nous avons vraiment le sentiment que le niveau de service et d’attention aux détails n’est pas à la hauteur du prix ni du standing annoncé. C’est dommage.”

    “Der Empfang war toll. Direkte Strandlage des Hotels. Surfbrett, Kajak und Glasboot mit Schnorchel Ausflug waren inclusive. Infiniti Pool war toll. Zimmer waren groß, geräumig und sauber und es wurde täglich 2 mal gereinigt. Personal war sehr freundlich.”
