  • Amazing luxurious stay!

“What a wonderful stay! We were upgraded to a beautiful suite room 1001. We also used their airport transportation and Roberto was excellent but so was the other driver. When we arrived the bellmen promptly assisted us with our luggage and we were checkin. We were excited to have seen the nice upgrade (am Ambassador) and they acknowledged my status. The whole stay was magical. The King Cole Bar is a wonderful space with creative cocktails. We had breakfast at Diana and our server Arturo was outstanding. Sonia the Diana Manager also came by to say hello and see how our breakfast was and she was pleasant and wonderful. We came by before we left for our check out (quick one night stay) and had nice champagne glasses to quick start our vacation (what better way than Krug!) Wonderful stay and cant wait to come back!”

  • Treated Like Genuinely Welcomed Guests

“The St. Regis Mexico City is an outstanding hotel, and we can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like genuinely welcomed guests. That began at check-in, where the team took real care with our room selection, and it continued throughout our stay — there was always someone asking whether there was anything they could do to make our visit more enjoyable. That kind of consistent, attentive service is rare. The location is terrific for exploring Mexico City, sitting right on Paseo de la Reforma with easy access to Polanco, the Historic Center, and beyond. A special mention goes to the King Cole Bar, where the bartenders were simply great and made for some memorable evenings. It's a top-notch operation from start to finish. We left already hoping to return.”

“The St Regis has the best service of any hotel in Mexico City. The rooms are impeccable, and the security is top notch. The terrace of the restaurant is lovely for a relaxed brunch any day (or every day) of the week. Special thanks to Iliana at the front desk for her outstanding hospitality and kindness.”

“Perfection of a resort here in Mexico City. We were greeted by Rosa and walked to our beautiful room by Orlando. Let me tell you the room is beautiful amenities inside show is gorgeous and very spacious. The beauty only continues as you get to the fifteenth floor with their pool over looking the fountain and the city. Can’t not talk about our butler team and genesis for the phenomenal service and recommendations.”

  • Great Hotel with Bad Bathroom Doors!

    8/10

    SMaggieL · Family · 2026-03-16

“We absolutely loved the St. Regis in CDMX with one glaring exception -- the glass bathroom doors! The service was impeccable, the beds comfortable, the concierge worked magic to get us great seats at an event. Breakfast every morning was a fresh and hot delight. But, what's not delightful is having absolutely no privacy in the bathroom. The bathroom doors are glass and they are not opaque. They're frosted, but it's very easy to see through them and that makes for some very awkward moments. My husband was trying to shower when room service arrived. He ended up huddled in the tub trying to push himself as far into a corner as possible because there was literally nowhere else in in the room he could go to not be visible by the staff bringing the food. The toilet in our room is in the main bathroom area -- visible. The shower? No door, just an alcove. Visible though the glass. We were traveling with teens and the connecting door is right across from the shower door. Everything is visible. I'd go back in a heartbeat if it was just me. With others? Unfortunately, no.”

  • A classic in Reforma

“A classic in Reforma. _Rooms are nice, linens are solid, service overall is great. _Breakfast is not the best (food is a bit disappointing across the board). _Great location, rooms, options. It’s always busy, but it doesn’t feel that way. _Good wine selection (an oddity in the area). _Probably the best hotel gym in CDMX (and top 10 in the world). A solid spa; pool is just OK. _Eventful: there is always something going on—busy, but not in a negative way. _Reliable stay. On a recent trip, we switched from the Ritz to St. Regis after a weekend in Valle. Lesson learned.”

  • Great location, centrally located

“I was a little surprised by the hotel in comparison to the other St. Regis Hotel I stayed at. The lobby is less impressive and the staff is not as attentive as the hotel in Asia. The rooms are also a little smaller and butler service is a little less attentive. Great location in Reforma, close to Roma Norte and Polanco by walking.”

  • Perfect Stay in CDMX

    10/10

    three_by_five · Solo travel · 2025-12-03

“I stayed from August 2-9, 2025, in a Junior Suite. It was a little more than I'd wanted to spend on the room, but (in my opinion) ended up being very much worth it. I'm Lifetime Titanium with Marriott, and though I wasn't offered an upgrade, the room was still fantastic. The hotel itself is wonderful, though the style is starting to show just a little bit of age (lots of wood paneling in the rooms, carpeting choices, etc). I did very much enjoy the rainfall shower, but was puzzled by the tub (it's awkwardly positioned in the bathroom, and didn't get much light). Honestly, these are minor nitpicks. Where the hotel truly shines is in its service. The St. Regis prides itself on its service, and this hotel is no exception. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome and "at home." When seeing you, every staff member, regardless of who they are, will stop what they are doing and greet you with a big smile. And every night, you are treated to a spectacular ceremony where the butlers will "saber" champagne for the guests. The location can't be beat--it's one of the main reasons I chose the hotel--it's almost directly next to Chapultepec Forest, which gets you within walking distance of Chapultepec Castle (the National History Museum), the Anthropology Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. If you're a runner, the forest also offers fantastic trails and the concierge at the hotel can help with recommendations. The hotel is *not* near the traditional "touristy" areas (e.g., the Zócalo), but it is just north of Roma/Condesa, which tends to be fairly Anglicized, offering a range of fantastic rooftop bars and restaurants. I loved the in-hotel restaurant *so much* that I ended up eating there fairly frequently, and I highly, highly recommend the short rib tacos (though if you ask the servers, they will also recommend getting one of each kind). The bar is one of my favorite places to have a cocktail, read a book, or just people-watch--and there's almost always something going on. When the weather is pleasant (which is almost always is) they will open up the glass doors and you can enjoy the breeze on the terrace. The fitness center, pool, and spa are located on the top floor, and provide commanding views of a good portion of the valley. You can see the mountains and enjoy the skyline while (if you're anything like me, and live at sea level) huffing and puffing your way through a workout. One minor point worth noting; I enjoyed my room and the view it offered of the Diana Fountain, as well as a glimpse of the Angel of Independence, but be aware that hotel rooms facing the roundabout by the fountain will experience more late-night traffic noise than the other side of the hotel. I can't say it ruined any nights of sleep, but I did wake up a few times to loud horns, revving engines, and any other of the sounds of a busy city. I would love to return and stay here again.”
