The staff at Garden Palace were exceptional. They did all the things they said they would do, attended quickly and thoroughly to any questions, provided recommendations and advice, organised car hire and restaurants and were lovely people. They offered me airport pick up and drop off.
The hotel is very well maintained, very clean - the rooms are gigantic and there is a kitchenette (kettle, fridge, stove (and a pot/frypan etc) etc. Comfy beds. different pillows. Aircon etc. there are loan beach towels and loan umbrellas! Security was good and easy for customers.
The breakfast was pretty good - Coffee, tea, juice, breads, cheese, fruits, eggs, cereal and salad and some daily variations.
There is no lift, but there is a luggage lift! The stairs are a good to keep your body moving.
Close walk to towns and shops.
Parking available.

“I had a great time here and truly felt right at home. The hotel manager and the entire staff are incredibly welcoming, detail-oriented, and dedicated to making sure everything is perfect. The free airport shuttle was available even for my late-night arrival and departure after midnight. The room itself is beautiful and bright with modern wood tones and has a fully equipped kitchenette. The top-floor terrace breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold items. Their laundry service is very reasonably priced since they charge by the bucket rather than per piece.”

“Giving 10/10 for one particular reason - how the front office suggested watching the FIFA World Cup instead of just saying “sorry no.”
That being said - the rooms were HUGE (easily enough space for scuba equipment and suitcases), nicely decorated in an island style, well equipped and reasonable WiFi was offered. Breakfast - albeit simple - was of a high quality. Location was decent if you plan to be based in Koror. They even offered a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. They provide beach towels and umbrellas as well.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Garden Palace Downtown Koror, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The entire hotel team is attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Every request was handled quickly and with a warm smile, making us feel truly valued throughout our stay.
The staff, both at the reception and the manager Mr. Oya, are simply exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, they create a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. You can clearly feel the teamwork and positive energy. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable.
Breakfast was satisfying and beautifully prepared.
The rooms are clean, huge, comfortable, and perfectly located in the city center.

“I think it is one of the best hotels in Palau. Mini kitchen and some tableware are enough to cook some foods. Two biggest stores in Palau are very close, therefore I had no difficulties to buy groceries. Our room was quite wide and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. You can book tour, dinner and rent a car at the front. Big towels are available when you join tours. I strongly recommend this hotel to stay.”

“This hotel is operated by Japanese owners. Every corner of the hotel reflects the meticulous spirit and attentive service of the Japanese.
Breakfast was simple, but good enough for a fresh beginning of the day. There were always 2 to 3 different kinds of fresh fruits each morning, and we really appreciate that.
The room was very spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable. There was even a fully functional and well-equipped kitchen in the room.
Water pressure and temperature was all good in the bathroom. There was a bidet toilet.
Hotel offers their guests free-to-takeout towels and umbrellas for outing - a truly thoughtful gesture. Free airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as door-to-door luggage services are also provided.
We also really appreciated that the staff had prepared birthday cakes for us and left us an unforgettable beautiful memory of this place.❤️
We simply enjoy every moment of our stay in the hotel. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit Palau.”
