    “Unfortunately, my stay at Terra Adina Hotel in Cusco was a very unpleasant and disappointing experience. On the positive side, the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. However, this could not compensate for the significant problems I experienced during my stay. My biggest concern was the excessive noise. I specifically requested a quiet room, yet I was given what appeared to be one of the noisiest rooms in the hotel. The room did not have a proper window, allowing an extreme amount of street noise to enter. As a result, I was unable to sleep properly. While I understand and appreciate the historical character of the building, I do not consider this an acceptable excuse. If a room cannot provide reasonable protection from extremely loud street noise, this should be clearly disclosed to guests before booking. More importantly, such a room should never be assigned to a guest who has specifically requested a quiet room. I was also very disappointed with the condition of the bathrobe provided in the room. It did not appear to have been properly washed, or possibly had not been washed at all. It had a very strong perfume smell, which seemed to be from the previous guest. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hotel's standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The breakfast was another disappointment. It was very basic, with very limited choices and little variety. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. Although the staff were kind and helpful, my request for a quiet room was not honored, the excessive noise made it difficult to sleep, and the condition of the bathrobe was unacceptable. The explanation regarding the historical building should not be used as an excuse for failing to provide a reasonable level of comfort and cleanliness.”
