Great setting with excellent rooms and golf course but not the cheapest. Breakfast good but but best to eat out otherwise as catering similar to a golfclub club house rather than a hotel

Loved most

  • Spacious, comfortable rooms with balconies
  • Friendly and helpful staff (Angela mentioned)
  • Beautiful golf-course views and well-maintained grounds
  • Calm, quiet atmosphere (good for rest or special events)
  • Nice pool and tranquil pool area
  • Convenient for hospital visits and access to Marbella

Worth knowing — Breakfast: limited variety / weak quality reported several times · Restaurant/dining area inadequate—often only bar seating · Far from the sea; requires a car to reach the beach · At least one serious booking/room type error reported · Corridor odor and occasional issues with dish cleanliness · Gym is small

How guests scored the stay

  • Overall Experience9.7

Majority of guests described their stay as lovely, calm, beautifully maintained and ideal for rest or special occasions (wedding); a minority experienced significant issues (booking error, breakfast/restaurants).

  • Service9.5

Staff repeatedly praised as friendly and helpful (Angela named); isolated but strong complaint about staff error on room type and poor breakfast handling.

  • Room Quality9.5

Rooms consistently described as very spacious, comfortable, with balconies and good showers; multiple reports of large/enormous rooms.

  • Location9.0

Excellent setting on a golf course with lovely views and easy access to Marbella and a nearby hospital; however several guests noted it is far from the sea and a car is needed.

  • Cleanliness8.8

Generally reported as clean and well maintained (brand cosmetics, clean rooms); one review noted corridor odor and issues with dish cleanliness for lunch.

  • Amenities8.6

Pool and grounds praised and tranquil; gym exists but is small; breakfast served in a separate building which some guests enjoyed.

  • Food and Beverage7.2

Food reviews are mixed: multiple comments about weak or limited breakfast variety and an inadequate dining area (often eating in the bar); others found buffet plentiful and some dishes lovely.

“Chose this hotel primarily because of its location to the hospital as we were visiting my sister there. It was a very stressful time and this place was an absolute calm oasis after days spent in the hospital. We had three enormous rooms, with balconies looking out over the golf course. It's very well set out and the showers were wonderful. Breakfast is in a separate building and was buffet style and plentiful. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has black and white photos everywhere showing previous guests like Brigitte Bardot. The hotel and grounds are beautifully maintained and in a lovely area but with easy access to Marbella and the surrounding area.”

  • We enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel, beautifully furnished, with amazing views , friendly staff and great pool .
