One of our most memorable stays in Sri Lanka. The couple running the place are so kind and friendly.
We booked all their rooms as we were a group of 16 celebrating 2 birthdays.
They contacted us in advance to see if we have any requirements and they also got us a nice birthday cake and flowers when we arrived.
The rooms are nice and spacious and in different levels. The pool is well kept and clean.
We had a lovely home cooked breakfast every morning.
The couple even let us have a birthday party in the common dining area with all our family visiting from different parts of the world.
They have a tuk tuk available to take guests around.
Plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the villa and the city and markets are about a 20 min walk.
Beach is 5 minutes away just across the street.
Guests praised the staff for being friendly and accommodating.

“La struttura si trova all’interno rispetto la strada di traffico cittadino, pertanto un angolo tranquillo. E’ immersa nel verde e con una piscina di media grandezza dove potersi rilassare. La camera matrimoniale, ad uso singola, al pian terreno è molto essenziale, dotata sia di ventilatore a soffitto che di aria condizionata. Un angolo con lavandino e frigo.
La colazione, compresa nel prezzo, è stata abbondante: tè o caffè, a seconda della propria richiesta, frutta fresca, pane tostato con burro e marmellata, hopper (piatto tipico cingalese).
Ho pernottato una sola notte ed il prezzo, adeguato al cambio del giorno, è stato di 18,50€.
Il pagamento della camera, almeno per le strutture che ho prenotato io, è stato effettuato con moneta locale.”

We had a wonderful stay at Ging View Villa in Galle! ❤️ From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The villa is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the whole place has such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.
The swimming pool was absolutely lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. It was clean, refreshing, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. 🏊♀️✨
The breakfast was also delicious and freshly prepared, with a good variety of food. We really enjoyed starting our mornings with such a lovely breakfast. 🍳☕️
The hospitality was exceptional. The staff were very friendly, kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We truly felt at home throughout our stay.
The location is also great, with easy access to the beach and Galle attractions. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing experience, and we are so happy we chose Ging View Villa.

“We had a great stay here, the room was spacious, clean and tea/coffee were provided. We also had a yummy breakfast and taxi service to our next destination organised. The pool area is clean and a really nice spot to enjoy the sun - would recommend!”

“Mooi gebouw, je waant je echt bij de mensen thuis ondanks dat er meerdere kamers zijn. Goeie stijlkeuze, lekker zwembad en hele aardige en meedenkende gastheer. Ze dachten goed mee over een driver richting Negombo en hadden verschillende opties voor (kleine) excursies.
Ontbijt was heel uitgebreid.”

The break fast was very nice and rich!
We could choose between a Sri Lankan breakfast and an English breakfast. We obviously chose the Sri Lankan breakfast and it was every different and tasty served with fruits from the garden
The rooms are lovely and the bed is very cosy, we slept so well…
Above all, Gayan and Sandya are sooooooooo lovely kind and welcoming!
We felt like at home. Gayan gave us many advices for our visits.
We asked Gayan we would love to have good fish for dinner one day before and we had a delicious Tuna home made smoked in banana leaves on wood fire… it was very tasty. You should definitely try it but you have to ask at least a day before it is fresh fish !!
