Everything about the resort is spectacular. The beach, pool, cleanliness, staff, all were amazing. A large variety of tasty food and drinks on offer. The three additional on site restaurants included in the all inclusive were very nice, but the main buffet restaurant had lovely food as well.

“We went to Zanzibar on 29th January for two weeks. The resort was excellent. unusual accommodation, with loads of green areas, trees etc. The buildings were two stories , four rooms upstairs , four downstairs. The buildings were unique, from outside they were built from logs etc with thatched roofs. Sounds odd, but when you got into the rooms they were excellent, large bedroom with table and chairs, a desk, another unit with fridge etc,. and a massive balcony with nice seats and a great view, and a large bathroom with walk in shower The four poster bed was great, complete with Mosquito net. The staff came in twice a day, once to clean the room, make the bed, change the towels (including beach towels), topping up soft drinks and water in the fridge. The second time to tidy up again and put the mosquito net into place. The food was average, not a great selection, but there was food being cooked outside which was usually good. Several restaurants, all inclusive was excellent, good bottled beer, spirits were good with large measures if you wanted them. Pools were good, swim up bar. Entertainment at night, right by the beach, restaurant and bars. Loads of sunbeds on the beach, the staff look for you heading towards the sunbeds, and bring mattresses over. Waiters on the beach bringing drinks. All in all a very good experience.
The flights however were a disaster, but that's another story”

“Serious Food Hygiene Issues
We stayed at Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa for three weeks and experienced serious problems with food hygiene.
All six people in our group became sick multiple times during the stay with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. We also witnessed guests vomiting near the beach and at shared toilets, and several other guests told us they had also been sick after eating at the resort.
This was clearly not an isolated incident. Based on our experience and what we observed, the food hygiene standards at this resort appear to be very poor.”

“Staying in an all inclusive hotel is worrying when you require gluten free food. The F & B Assistant Manager, the Chefs and the waiting staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Not only were we catered for, we had choice of restaurant and food at each and the food was excellent! Ahsante sana to Swahera, Grace, Issa and Narendra
The hotel was clean relaxed well appointed and on the beach. Sadly no sailing available through the water sports centre. The diving master Naheem was excellent however.
The 3 day Safari arranged through Ali at the hotem was superb. Saw the Big 5 and the Ugly 5. Dream come true.
FABULOUS hotel and staff. Would recommend for anyone needing GF food or a relaxing break.”

“We stayed at Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa as a group of four (two families), in rooms 182 and 183, and everything was simply excellent.
What impressed us the most was the kindness and warmth of the staff: from reception, to housekeeping, to the bar and restaurant teams. Everyone was genuinely friendly, gentle, and happy to welcome guests.
With the hotel’s guidance, we visited a nearby village. The contrast between the luxury of the resort and the local reality is striking and deeply moving. Despite the poverty, the local people are cheerful, kind, and welcoming. It was a powerful and emotional experience that we will never forget.
We spent most of our time inside the resort, where we felt completely safe and relaxed. If you are looking for a vacation where relaxation is the priority, a charter holiday in Zanzibar is a great choice, and Neptune Pwani is an excellent resort.

“The overall experience was great, would surely recommend NARENDRA SINGH JHALA FROM THE FOOD N BEVERAGE MANAGER - he took great care as we were vegetarians and made sure our food issues are taken care of, even when we were visiting for sightseeing the breakfast was been taken care for to-go. During booking reservations for dinner we had been guided well for various restaurants by him.
Chef RANA and other chef also made sure we get great food in other restaurants THAI, ITALIAN AND INDIAN.
Mr. joseph in reservation was very friendly and all the staff at front desk are welcoming.”

“During our second stay at Neptune Pwani Beach Resort, we were welcomed by the same staff as two years ago, who gave us a warm welcome, as if we were family.
Everything was perfect. The room was cleaned every day and had a beautiful balcony and very comfortable bedding. As for the food, the buffet restaurant offered a variety of high-quality dishes every day.
Thank you to Narendra, the head chef, and his entire team.
On the beach, the staff was on hand to set up our lounge chairs as soon as we arrived, and there were enough for everyone, as well as exceptional beach service.
The hotel staff were very attentive, and in a completely natural way. Zanzibar is the most welcoming region in Africa.
A big thank you to all the staff, we will be happy to return.
