“The overall service at Splash Resort was extremely poor. The reception staff were slow, unresponsive, and disorganized, making even simple requests frustrating.
The shuttle service was unreliable—despite repeatedly being told it would be sent, it simply never arrived. Communication felt empty and untrustworthy.
The resort itself feels old and poorly maintained, with many facilities outdated or broken. On top of that, guests are required to pay a cash-only deposit of 1,000 THB per person, which is unreasonable and inconvenient, especially for international travelers. This policy was neither guest-friendly nor clearly justified.
The location of the resort is convenient, and the water park is enjoyable, especially for families with children. The bedding was also comfortable and clean, which we appreciated. However, despite these positivies, our overall experience was severely impacted by serious service and communication failures. We booked 2 bedroom penthouse Suite with Private Pool for two nights, paying approximately KRW *** M in total. At check-in, we were handed a letter informing us that due to scheduled water tank maintenance, there would be no hot water until 5 am next morning, and construction noise until 10 pm. This was the first time we were informed, despite the hotel clearly knowing about the planned maintenance in advance. There was no prior notice before arrival. We were traveling with a nearly 70-year-old elderly parent and two young children, who had to shower with cold water in what is supposed to be a luxury suite. Worse still, our so-called private pool was not private at all. Maintenance staff were working directly above our room and could look down into the pool area, making it uncomfortable. We lost the use of the private pool on the first day entirely. Although we were told construction would end by 10 PM, noise continued into the following afternoon, making it impossible to rest in the room. Complaints to reception resulted only in apologies, with no effective alternatives provided. As compensation, the hotel offered a fruit plate and, after repeated complaints, allowed a 2-hour late check-out, which does not reasonably compensate for the loss of hot water, privacy, quiet environment, and paid facilities. While the location, water park, and bedding quality were good, the lack of transparency and inadequate handling of planned maintenance made this stay poor value for the price paid.”

“Booked through Agoda. I couldn't pay with my card online and called the hotel to make sure my reservation still was ok. The woman I spoke to said I could pay at desk at arrival. One hour before check in I got an email saying that my booking was cancelled. I called them again and they confirmed that there was no longer a booking. They could offer me and my family (2 adults, 2 children 10&11 years old) two 3 feet beds. There was no extra bed, but we had to pay 2000 bath extra per day for the kids. I was really upset, but all I heard was the Thai standard phrase "Sorry madam!" Really poor service, and I had to find another hotell. All this one hour before check in and my kids was so dissapointed, but I will never recommend anyone to book there!”

“Hotel is lovely and clean, plenty to choose for breakfast. Staff are lovely however you can never get a sun bed. To go into the water park you can't take your own towels in you have to pay for them and a locker and put money on a wrist band. New years eve not allowed to celebrate in the hotel unless you pay over £120 a person, cant even sit at the bar to watch the show. Never got offered tickets and when we we to buy them they were fully sold out. And no point did anyone ask us to buy tickets or explain that we can't watch the show, we were told we could by drinks at the bar and watch the show..To then be told no you can go celebrate in your room. Really disappointed when we came all the way from the UK to get told to celebrate the new year in our room.”

“We stayed in both the 3 bedroom apartment and the 2 bedroom pool villa during our stay - the apartment and the villa were lovely, with separate spaces and bathrooms for all of us. We booked through trip.com for the villa, & despite being clear on the booking that there were 5 of us, we were charged extra for a fold up bed. Our villa didn’t include entry to the waterpark either - so be very careful when booking. The staff & facilities were lovely, but it makes life very difficult when there is a disconnect between the resort & what trip.com states as inclusions. Great place for aircraft lovers, as the resort backs onto the tarmac of Phuket airport. With no curfew, the noise is continuous.”

“Splash hotel is wonderful. Spa so relaxing with traditional Thai products and professional therapist "Khun Pra" & Kinds Manager "Khun Pron" alway support any requests from guests. On Saturday nights at Sunset restaurant they have BBQ buffet so delicious and good quality of food with lovely price.
Specially thank you for excellent service from Khun Ae and his team they made our day so amazing dinner.”

“Do not stay in this hotel. The hotel is rundown. The staff is not friendly and Managers do not care. Pool area flooring is super dangerous. Wood are rotten and during my trip my 14 year old son was walking and timber flooring broke and he fell injuring himself. Complained to Manager, and we are still waiting for a feedback. Again do not stay in this hotel.”

“Well located family style resort close to Phuket International Airport.
Has onsite meals and bars, and is also a short walk to local shops eateries, supermarkets money exchanges etc.
Despite the website saying there is a hotel shuttle and onsite laundry facilities - this is not correct.
Organise a local tact from the taxi booth located outside arrivals hall - 600thb and if you get drivers details he will pick you up following day for 500thb. I returned to airport to
Meet a friend flying in from Australia then had transfers to Khao Lak.
Great local Thai eateries down the street and a laundry next to supermarket where wash dry and fold for 180thb.
Room includes buffet breakfast onsite.
Would definitely consider using this as a night Lob again so can get maximum value of the resort stays given flights from Australia arrive so late.
PS water park is closed for a few months for renovations.”

“It’s so beautiful resort. But I think they need some improvements. Stuff are good but not enough. Services mostly slowly. When you need something you have to request 2 times. Also the try to charge you for anything or any reason. Foe example my kids eat in my room and they drop some food on towel the house keeping charge me 375 bat. And they warned me if the kids do any thing inside the room they will charge me.
When I go to pool and i want some beach towels they took from me my room keys and they will not return the key until I return the towels. They treat the customers as they are bad people. The resort so stingy. But still i like the resort in general and i will back again.”

“It was near the airport and we didn’t hear any planes flying by, very quiet. We also saw the resort while on our plan taking-off. Outside the resort seemed to be a lot of restaurant but we didn’t spend enough time to walk around to enjoy them. While I was there the water park was closed. The front desk said they should be open in October and it actually looked fun, as a 39 year old I would go. Breakfast was delicious, staff was wonderful, resort was clean, they had a shuttle running continuously, I actually enjoyed my stay. Well done Splash Beach resort, well done! ”

“I was disappointed that the hotels waterpark was closed and I didn’t find out until a day before my check in. And they offered nothing to accommodate that huge disappointment.It’s the whole reason I booked there. The drivers were very nice. But customer service as a whole was not very good. The pool and the resort was beautiful. I think if the water park were open it would have been ok. We were def not a fan of the food there”

“I am a kid and I am telling you this place ruined my whole entire life. Okay maybe not my whole life but definitely my holiday and that is basically the same thing.
We came to Phuket Splash Jungle Resort because of the waterpark. The big slides. The fun. The excitement. The reason ANYONE goes here. And then SURPRISE the waterpark was CLOSED. Not a little closed. Not fixing something. Just completely shut. The workers just acted like it was totally normal.
So they gave us 2400 baht for four people to spend on the day we arrived. Which sounds pretty good until you remember we got there late and had like five minutes to spend it. And they gave us four tiny drinks that were the size of a fingernail and we could not even choose what they were. They just handed us sad little cups like that would fix anything. It did not.
Check-in took one thousand years. There were angry parents everywhere. Kids melting down. Staff looking like they wanted to disappear. We just stood there while chaos exploded all around us. Nobody had been told the park was closed. Everyone was mad. Including me. Especially me.
Then we went to check out the pools. If you can even call them that. There was one old crusty pool that looked like it had not been cleaned since the dinosaurs. And another pool that was basically the size of a bathtub. A small one. And the lifeguards were just sitting there scrolling on their phones like they were on a break from caring about safety. They were not even looking at the water, in fact facing a different direction. I could have done a backflip and they would not have noticed. Not that I know how to do a backflip but still.
We also tried to do beach soccer because it was listed as an activity. But surprise again. It does not exist. We asked the staff and they handed us a ball that was so hard it could break your foot. It was like kicking a coconut. And they expected us to play barefoot. I bruised my toes and foot so much and I’m quite annoyed because I actually value my toes so no thank you.
The food was worse than school lunch. And I like school lunch. They forgot my meal completely. My whole family got theirs and finished eating while I just sat there like a sad little potato 🥔 . When it finally came one hour later it was cold and gross and they even forgot the bacon. How do you forget bacon. Bacon is the best part.
You could not even eat outside the restaurant which made no sense. You are in Thailand. It is beautiful. And they want you to sit inside like you are at a boring airport food court. No thanks people!
The rooms were okay. Big and kind of nice. But that is not why we came here. We came for the waterpark and the fun and there was NONE of that.
Also the buggy thing. We were the first ones to call it and the first ones waiting and then a bunch of people just pushed in front of us and got on and the staff just stood there and watched like it was totally normal. We had to wait for another one while everyone else drove off into the distance like it was a race and we were the losers that lost.
Everything about this place made me want to scream into a pillow. I would not go back here if they paid me.
DO NOT come here. Unless you want to spend your holiday bored and annoyed and watching other people complain while holding a sad tiny drink and wondering what went wrong.”
