Not Worth the Price for Club Executive Ocean Suite

“We paid almost 15,000 THB per night for the Club Executive Ocean Suite, expecting to stay in what we believed was the best room category of the hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing and did not justify the price.
We arrived at 3:00 PM, which is the official check-in time. However, we were told that the room was not ready and had to wait another 45 minutes. This was already frustrating because when you pay this level of price, you expect the room to be ready at check-in time so you can actually use it.
Even after we finally received the room, we were informed that our luggage would arrive another 30 minutes later. Honestly, what kind of service is this? The hotel did not seem prepared at all. Guests staying in the top room category would normally expect some form of priority, but that was clearly not the case here.
When we finally entered the room, the disappointment grew more. We expected the “ocean view” in line with our room type but on reality, the room was a pool view and city view, with a glimpse of the beach.
The Club Lounge afternoon tea was served as a set with very limited variety, and the quality was just ok. Nothing special. The evening offerings were similar. Compared with other club lounges of Amari, especially Amari Hua Hin, Amari Pattaya is weaker. The only highlight was that the cocktails were well made and good.
Other facilities were also somewhat inconvenient. The pool closes early at 7:00 PM, and the kids club opens quite late in the morning. Breakfast is à la carte ordering style. The Thai dishes tasted good, but overall the selection was quite limited.
To be fair, the staff service was generally good, and the team was polite.
However, at the end of the day, this stay simply did not feel worth the price for a Club Executive Ocean Suite. If you are planning to spend around 15,000 THB per night, there are definitely better options.
For example, we recently stayed at Andaz Pattaya, which was far more impressive and provided a much better overall experience.”

“DO NOT CHOOSE the EXECUTIVE CLUB ROOM, unless you like disturbances from very young noisy children. WE WERE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We chose to pay extra for an Executive Club room for better quality of quietness and especially that the booking.com site indicated that the Executive Club rooms on the 18th, 19th & 20th floors did not accommodate children under 12 years old. We also chose this room type as it provided a smaller breakfast offering in more intimate space, rather than eat in the busy 3rd floor breakfast buffet. Our experience did not reflect this claim. The executive club floor rooms had quite a number of children under 12 running up and down corridors and the club lounge was like a kindergarten on our first visit for afternoon tea. There were approx. 16 small children running around the lounge screaming at the top of their voices and the staff did not ask parents to control their children. After we spoke with management about the noise, they seemed to have asked the parents to respect the quietness of this lounge. However, at breakfast time there were still many small children eating in the club lounge. There was nowhere that you could escape to to enjoy some peaceful time. My husband and I enjoy playing a QUIET daily game of cards (no gambling or shouting) on the second visit to the lounge the staff told us that it is hotel policy that we are not allowed to play cards in the lounge, due to possible noise!!?? Yet when other guests on the table next to us were using their phone for a long loud video call for their children to speak with grandparents, staff did not respond.”

From Khun Ae (best hotel manager ever) to all the the best club Nappa staff, Kitty, Jett, Jinny , Yui, Annie, king, noona, fang, Tung, to name but a few, they are all amazing throughout the hotel. They all welcome us with open arms and made us feel at home. From the concierge team to the reception team to the massage staff and not forgetting the amazing guys at the pool who always look after us. We loved it so much we have already booked to go back. The restaurants are also amazing. The hotel is so well placed on Pattaya beachfront. WELL DONE AMARI PATTAYA, keep up the good work.”

The staff were very polite and helpful, which made the whole stay comfortable from check-in to check-out.
The room was nice and spacious enough, the bed was comfortable, and the view was beautiful. Waking up to that view felt really good.

“Brilliant hotel . Clean and comfortable with the food and the staff at top standers.
We booked direct and got transfer from Bangkok to Hotel 1800 Bart in a Camry .
Our room had brilliant views and the regular stop and go transport can got us down the road to shops easy.
Money changer and 7/11 next door and beach side of the road is grate to run or walk.
Coffee is crap and break fast needs more coffee machines to make it easygoing.
But staff are grate. Can honestly say well done and thank you to all the staff.
Had to feel sorry for them with all the Indians demanding and treating them like slaves.

Outstanding Indian Cuisine at Amari Hotel Pattaya
I had a truly wonderful experience at Amari Hotel Pattaya. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and the hospitality is top-notch. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and always ready to help, making the stay extremely comfortable.
A special mention and huge appreciation for the Indian chef/cook Mr. Satish Kumar at the hotel. His service was absolutely amazing, and the food was simply outstanding. The Indian dishes were authentic, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. You can genuinely feel the passion and care he puts into every dish. He was also very warm, attentive, and ensured that everything met our taste and preferences.

“This is my third time staying in this hoel.The hotel has many positive aspects mainly the staff, quality of rooms and cleanliness of the hotel and grounds.This year we had to complain along with a number of other guests over the sereniy pool and its use by young children, we complained to the pool team then reception staff and finally the general manager. A few days later 2 new signs appeared saying over 12 years of age only to use the pool (there are 4 other pools the children can use including a small water park)For a couple of days the pool staff enforced this and it was acceptable. This did not last long before it returned back to the screams and splashing of young children. The pool team need retraining to deal with what should be a tranquil place to sunbathe,if this is not possible then the hotel should stop advertising on a number of websites the adults zone. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this hotel.”

“We Reached Amari at 8 am, though early and requested for early check in for 1 room Out of 2 rooms booked. We were categorically denied that early check in is not possible .
We came again at 11 am and 11.50 am asking for 1 room but hotel denied early check in telling of hotel policy check out at 12 pm and check in at 3 pm, but when we reached the front desk at 3 pm, we were told 1 room is ready and the other room is getting ready as the guest has checked out late.
Result : We were given 2 rooms not near and the other room is still getiing ready till the time of writing the review at 3.30 pm .
