“Amy and I would like to commemorate the outstanding service from butler Sasi during our recent stay in July. Sasi explained excellent to her attention to details and her immediate response to our need throughout our stay. She also made sure we were on time for our activities. The hospitality needs more people like Sasi. She ids definitely a keeper and the Naka Island Resort in Phuket is very fortunate to have Sasi on their staff. As we left the property, we had been asked what we enjoyed the most and our response was Sasi's service. We would have taken her along with us :-)

“Stayed in the seaview rooms and wow we loved it! Would highly recommend this hotel but only if you could get the seaview rooms. We originally booked the basic room and we were so glad we upgraded once we saw the basic rooms. The basic rooms have no view and when you open the curtains you look into a wall so if you want the real Naka experience please spoil yourself to the seaview pool villas. The breakfast is amazing and the service was on point. We didn’t want to leave after our three day stay here as it was all so special. Also every day they give free ice creams and my kids loved that!”

“Amazing location and resort away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. We spent 5 nights and loved all of it, from the speedboat transfer to arrive on the island, to the amazing staff who always go the extra mile. The villas are rustic and beautifully done, we had a 1.5m gecko that visited us and had a swim in our private pool most days.
Special thanks to Sasi, our butler, but all the staff were amazing.
I would highly recommend staying here.”

“Our stay at Naka Island became the highlight of our trip to Phuket. As night fell, the villa settled into a quietness that was almost intoxicating. The chorus of insects, the occasional birdsong, and the gentle sound of water spilling from the pool blended into a kind of tranquility that I wished would never end. I recorded the ambient sounds, hoping I could revisit those moments years from now.
Beyond the peaceful atmosphere, the sunset ceremony, the excellent breakfast, kayaking in the cove, relaxing afternoons by the main pool, and the spa treatment all all lived up to the price.
What truly set this island apart, however, was the kindness of its people.
While cycling through the local village, my partner was thrown from his bike after hitting an unexpected bump in the road. He badly scraped both knees, and they immediately began to bleed. However, two villagers waved us over and helped him treat the wounds with saline solution and povidone-iodine simply out of kindness. Neither of them spoke English, yet their kindness needed no translation.
Afterwards, I contacted our residence assistant, Simon, and asked whether a buggy could pick us up so I could treat the wounds with the first-aid supplies I had brought with me. The buggy arrived within minutes—far sooner than we had expected—and took us directly to the first-aid room.
There, the nurse, together with some supervisors whose names I unfortunately forgot in the chaos, gave my partner the gentlest and most professional wound care either of us had ever received. Everything was provided free of charge. Pooky, the manager (I sincerely hope I remembered the name correctly), stayed with us, chatting casually and offering little treats that eased our nerves, while Simon prepared a teapot of warm chamomile tea in our villa.
The next day, when we checked out, both Simon and Pooky came to ask how my partner’s knees were recovering. Looking back, Simon and I were the anxious ones throughout the whole incident, while my partner was at ease.
Thanks to all of you, his recovery was much faster than we had ever expected. My heartfelt thanks go to Simon, to the kind villagers, to Pooky, to the nurse, and to every member of your team whose names I regretfully never learned. We sincerely hope our paths cross again on this beautiful island.
One small suggestion, if I may: the mosquitoes around the villa can be surprisingly enthusiastic, especially after sunset. A few mosquito coils or additional mosquito-control measures around the outdoor areas would make swimming in the private pool at night even more enjoyable. This was only a minor inconvenience and in no way overshadowed our experience. We truly spent two wonderful and genuinely happy days on this beautiful island.”

“Just fabulous! My husband and I decided to take a last minute 5 day break from our busy lives in China and the Naka Island did not disappoint!
From the minute we arrived by speedboat we were welcomed like family by the amazing Ploi! She is just a whole bundle of perfect! Her energy really set us in the mind of what to expect during our stay and it was perfect indeed!
Our villa was beautiful , with partial sea view and lots of wonderful nature to look out on every morning… it is pure heaven!
We often stay in luxury resorts around the world but Naka is up there as one of our best experiences and we are already planing our next visit! The food （seriously be ready for amazing Thai and international cuisine) the atmosphere, the peaceful days and nights and the wonderful team just made it so enjoyable!
Emmy and her team at breakfast, rock and the recreation team and the wonderful Ploi are all absolute credit to the resort! Nothing was too much trouble, every request met and with a smile! Service but with heart!

We chose this resort for our honeymoon, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Walking into our villa and seeing the beautiful flower decorations and the heartfelt honeymoon message on the bed was such a wonderful surprise that made us feel truly special.
The villa was breathtaking, offering complete privacy, outstanding comfort, and stunning surroundings. The entire island is peaceful and beautiful—the perfect place to relax and enjoy a romantic getaway.
We also had an amazing dining experience. The restaurant surprised us with a lovely honeymoon cake and even created our initials using coffee beans, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Every meal we had was delicious, especially breakfast, which offered a great variety of high-quality food.
The greatest part of our stay was the incredible staff. Every single person we met was friendly, professional, and always smiling. A very special thank you to Peachy, who took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests from beginning to end.

“It was an amazing resort on this island and it's only a 5 minute boat ride from the Marina in Phuket.
Our stay at The Naka Island was nothing short of exceptional. We were delighted to be upgraded to a stunning Private Pool Villa facing the ocean—waking up to those uninterrupted water views and enjoying our own pool made the experience feel truly exclusive and serene. The villa itself offered perfect privacy and a wonderful connection to the island’s natural surroundings.
What truly elevated our stay, however, was the incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after by Sunny, our Resident Butler and Concierge. Sunny was absolutely wonderful—attentive, warm, and seamlessly handling every detail to ensure our stay was flawless and was available all the time during our stay. “It's very rare for me to write a review for a stay, but I felt that I really had to for this incredible resort. The island is a beautifully quiet paradise, despite visiting in low/rainy season, I was still blessed with a couple of dry days where I had the opportunity to borrow the resort's hobiecat.
There is one particular member of the team that stood out, I've stayed at 100s of 5* hotels and resorts across the globe, so it takes a lot to impress me, and I can genuinely say that Ploi (one of their butlers) is the most impressive associate I have had the pleasure of meeting. Ploi was instantly able to build rapport, a friendly smile, going above and beyond. For example, I was late for breakfast one morning and Ploi reached out to check-in, anticipated my needs, picked me up from the villa, made sure that I still had a wonderful breakfast and even created a surprise and delight moment with some pancakes.
There were other surprise and delight moments that Ploi arranged, including turndown treats and a parting photo gift that made the stay extra special. I cannot express how impressed I was with her exceptional service, well done Ploi and I hope that I have the privilege of returning to the property soon!”
