    “Ho scelto il The Goring perché sono una grande fan della Principessa Kate e sapevo che questo hotel è legato alla sua storia. Per me soggiornare qui era un piccolo sogno e, da questo punto di vista, è stato davvero speciale. L’atmosfera è elegante, raffinata e fiabesca: per qualche giorno mi sono sentita davvero come una principessa. Fin dal primo momento ho avuto la sensazione di entrare in una fiaba Disney. I saloni, i profumi, i fiori, l’eleganza di ogni ambiente e la cura di ogni dettaglio sembravano appartenere a un mondo incantato. L’Afternoon Tea è stato un momento che non dimenticherò mai: seduta in quelle sale mi sembrava di vivere una favola, come se il tempo si fosse fermato. Anche la cena è stata straordinaria e le colazioni erano un piccolo rito di felicità ogni mattina. Per qualche giorno ho avuto la sensazione di vivere il sogno che avevo immaginato per anni e di respirare la stessa atmosfera che aveva conquistato anche Kate. Purtroppo, però, ogni volta che rientravamo in camera, quella magia si spegneva. Avevamo scelto il The Goring perché ci era stato assicurato che la camera fosse adatta a una persona con disabilità motoria. In realtà era presente un gradino, la doccia non era completamente accessibile e mancavano alcuni accorgimenti essenziali. Abbiamo visitato anche tutte le altre camere che ci sono state proposte, ma presentavano le stesse problematiche e nessuna era realmente accessibile. È difficile spiegare quanto faccia male vedere un sogno interrompersi per qualcosa che avrebbe potuto essere evitato. Proprio perché il The Goring è un luogo così speciale, la delusione è stata ancora più grande. La magia non dovrebbe fermarsi davanti alla porta di una camera.
