“Another great stay, this time celebrating our Anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The casitas are comfortable and secluded and the beautiful grounds are well kept and stunning at night. The food is outstanding whether it's dinner or breakfast. I can't think of a single thing that would have made our visit better! By far the best, most personable resort we've stayed at in Scottsdale.”

“Had our Staff retreat here in the beginning of August and it was incredible!!! Even though Arizona was so dang hot, the pool was cool, and there were very few people there that we needed to share with. Our group of 114 had a relaxing and wonderful time. The bar was a great place to relax. The buffets that we had planned were EXCEPTIONAL. We loved it. The staff was kind and knowledgeable.”

“We brought our baby for a wedding at the property, and Royal Palms delivered an exceptional stay. Our Globalist status got us upgraded to a 1 King Bed Casita that was cozy, deeply comfortable, and equipped with ice-cold AC that effortlessly handled the Phoenix heat. The manicured grounds are gorgeous, and the thick plaster walls gave us total privacy and quiet for the baby.
Breakfast at T. Cook's was fantastic, with the breakfast sandwich and fresh smoothies standing out as must-orders. What truly set the stay apart was the team:
Natalie & Katia (Front Desk): Warm, quick, and welcoming check-in.
Barbara: Gave us a wonderful room orientation and greeted us warmly every time we passed through the lobby.
Wes & Driving Team: Went above and beyond by driving us outside their standard transport radius without hesitation.
Concierge Team: Incredibly helpful and proactive throughout our stay.
Between the service, atmosphere, and dining, this was a fantastic getaway for us.”

“The place was a great and quiet escape from the hustle and grind. Everything was great except at the end. We booked with AMEX and was offered several things when booking with AMEX (free breakfast), early check in and late check out and possible upgrade. We did not take the upgrade as our room was nice, we did not check in early but did check out later, which was great. The free breakfast was ignored on the bill and we were charged fully both days. When we asked the resort, they stated we needed to contact Hyatt as they are now the parent company. After 6 different emails and calls, we were still denied what AMEX promised in our offer letter when booking. It isn't about the $150 in breakfast it is simply about he principal and honoring what was promised at the front desk at check in and on our booking sheet from AMEX. Great place, but the Hyatt brand took over and does not seem to care about the guests. Sad, beautiful place we will never stay at again.”

“My stay at the Royal Palms Resort was wonderful, and one of the things that really stood out was the exceptional level of customer service. Every interaction I had with the staff was warm and welcoming, but I especially wanted to recognize Kahtia for going above and beyond.
She took the time to share the fascinating history of the resort, which gave me an even greater appreciation for such a unique property. She also escorted me to my room, made sure I had everything I needed, and when I realized I had forgotten my toothbrush and toothpaste, she quickly brought me replacements without making it feel like any trouble at all.
What I appreciated most was that she genuinely cared about making my stay as enjoyable as possible. She even offered great recommendations for things to see and do around the area, which wasn't something she had to do but made my trip even better. Those personal touches are what set great hospitality apart from good hospitality.
The Royal Palms is a beautiful property, but it's the people who make the experience memorable. If Kahtia is any indication of the standard of service at this resort, guests are in excellent hands. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit such an enjoyable one.”

“What a beautiful property. Each room feels like your own private space. Rooms are large and comfortable. I wish I was able to stay longer and enjoy the scenery and all the amenities. The staff were excellent, helpful and accommodating.”
“WOW! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort. I brought my daughter here for a short mother/daughter trip as a birthday present. We were a little leery about going to Phoenix in July, but our first pleasant surprise was a chilled pool! I had never experienced this, and it was the best! Between that and the staff bringing ice water around constantly, we were comfortable and refreshed all day long.
The property was absolutely beautiful. Well maintained and gorgeous. Walking around was a dream, with so many nooks and crannies to explore.
The food was INCREDIBLE! You don't expect hotel food to be great....but both the restaurant and bar were amazing. We didn't eat or drink one bad thing in 3 days, and we enjoyed at least 1-2 breakfasts, lunches, and dinners on property.
The icing on the cake was the staff - every single person working there was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond. The GM brought my daughter a complimentary piece of birthday cake at the pool. Jared and Tracy at the bar were two of the friendliest bartenders I've ever met.
We can't wait to return back with my husband and sons for a future trip!”

“Perfect escape for a solo getaway. The Royal Palms offers charm and hospitality a boutique property would offer. Highlights include the chilled pool water to keep you refreshed (heated in winter). Wonderful dining in TCooks and poolside. The Alvadora spa for additional relaxation is top-tier. This extends into your room with the deep soaking bathtubs. The grounds are beautiful and the whole vibe is relaxing and a desert escape at the base of Camelback mountain. Book the property. You won't regret it.”

“You can safely skip this hotel, it is not worth the money. It is an old entire hotel that needs to be remodeled top to bottom. On top of that parking is $40 per day. A reasonable hotel rate became outrageous quickly.”

“Highly recommend this resort for a romantic getaway. We are locals and have enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Royal Palms many times. We love the super relaxing vibe, beautiful grounds, excellent service, and delicious food at T Cooks. This year was our first time back here in several years and we were stunned that the resort fee does not including parking !! Combined, the resort & parking fees added an extra ninety dollars per day to our stay!!”

“Royal Palms never fails. Service starts the minute you arrive in front circle and continues in check in, food and beverage, spa, and room service. You cannot go wrong with this boutique sized hidden away resort. I would say that they are nearing a need for room renovations, but the rooms remain true to the style and clean. The place they could improve is to better outfit the patios with better furniture to lounge/sit on. The grounds are so beautiful, but the table and chairs don't warrant a long sit. That said, I give Royal Palms a consistent ( past 15 years visiting) 5/5*.”
