    “Was there for a huge baseball tournament a couple weeks back. Location of hotel is great, hilltop with awesome views. When we arrived we realized that half of the resort was under construction. Like major construction!!! Rooms are very nice and the pool was nice as well. Fire pits out on the cliffside were great. Staff was great. Only complaint was the prices for drinks at the bar. I ordered a beer in a plastic but and was told it was $20. I am not a cheap person, but that is ridiculous. Other than that, once construction is completed, this place will be hard to beat.”

    “When making the hotel reservation it was noted there is renovation being done, however the extent of major heavy construction work being done literally outside your patio door is very understated. The dirt, trash and sewer smell prevented any use of the balcony or patio, all while paying full price for the rooms. It was the worst hotel experience I've had in 50 years of traveling.”

    “This place is not worth the price! It’s so run down and disgusting. The bathroom was leaking water from the shower to point where our bathroom floor was flooding. When I turned on the sink, it smelled like sewage. They didn’t service our room and when I asked about it, they said they would send someone in an hour but no one ever came. Our room was never serviced and all the wet towels were just left there. The entire check in process was so long and they seem short staffed.”

    “Don’t go here while it’s under construction! It’s a HUGE construction project, not “enhancements”. It’s noisy during the day, crazy traffic for pedestrians and cars. And, brace yourself for $50 parking + $50 breakfast. (Wish the hotel would waive these fees to offset the construction issues.) Staff tried to hard to mitigate, but it’s a serious challenge to relax and have a family gathering.”

    “Not only was the room not ready at check in, I had to go back to reception 3 times for our room key. The experience went from bad to worst. Here is the ocean view room we booked. I tried to be patient but will never stay here again.”

    “Was a five star review before construction but unfortunately a one star review now during construction. Only one pool and they don’t have the space or service to accommodate all the guests. Construction ruins the parking, walking to the rooms, and noise in your rooms. Must avoid until the construction is done - surprised they stayed open during the renovation bc all the bad reviews are going to lower hotel score. Avoid until after the construction.”

    “Major major construction. Extremely loud. Our room had jackhammers and loud trucks right outside the balcony. Upon booking, there was no warning that there would be major construction. Misleading. Very outdated. I felt like I was at an old Vegas hotel circa 1990! Regarding outdoor services, we went to get drinks at night and asked if they could turn on one of the outdoor fire pits and they said they were all out of propane except for 2, and that the rest were broken. Why advertise that you have all these amenities but then have them be out of order. Then the bartender said they would turn on a heater for us but never did! When we showered the drain in the shower backed up spewing out HAIR. Disgusting. Engineering had to come up at 10 pm along with housekeeping. We had 2 wet kids extremely exhausted that needed to take a shower. We paid well over $500 and would’ve gotten better service and rooms at a 2 star hotel, this hotel is by NO means a 4 star hotel, do not stay here if you have standards. Or if you do, lower your standards. This is by far one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I never post reviews but doing so this time out of fairness for future consumers. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.”
