“We had a great stay at Silverado Resort over the weekend. Overall, the staff was wonderful, the room was clean, the pool was great, and the food was good. It’s definitely more of a golf-focused resort, but we still had a very enjoyable stay.
There were a couple of maintenance issues. One of the outlets on the kitchen island had come loose and actually fell out, which was concerning, especially with our daughter there. Luckily, she didn’t touch it. The outdoor fire pit also wasn’t working during our stay.
Aside from those issues, we had a nice experience and would definitely consider staying again. Overall, a good stay and a beautiful little resort.”

“The room was nicely remodeled and very functional. It was quiet with comfortable beds and great pillows. We at dinner at Matchplay which was great and had 3 breakfasts also at matchplay which were Amazing! They omelet with the preserved tomatoes was really tasty and the crispy potatoes were yummy. Eduardo was our excellent server.
I was disappointed that the pickleball courts were being resurfaced the exact 3 days we were there.
Although we are not golfers the courses looked beautiful .”

“i took my husband here for his 40th birthday and it was a great time. the resort is in a great location where it’s a very peaceful area but still have very quick easy access to downtown napa. the resort itself was very pretty and the staff was incredible! i would definitely recommend!”

“I was expecting so much more of a resort experience and was disappointed with the lack of service and hospitality. No wifi information, no bag service. The bartender in the old house last night had zero personality and made us feel like we were putting him out spending over $100 in drinks. Very disappointed for what we spent and what we received, or more specifically, didn’t receive.
I should also not that it was a nightmare booking a round of golf and the hotel reservation. And after the 30 minute process, they still managed to mess up my tee time for our foursome.
We will not be back.”

“⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not a Luxury Resort
Our family recently stayed at Silverado Resort, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had.
For a property that markets itself as a luxury resort and charges premium rates, the accommodations were shockingly outdated and poorly maintained. Our rooms had chipped paint, dirty, worn carpeting, a filthy balcony, and a kitchen sink that leaked. It felt like the rooms hadn’t been updated in years.
The problems started immediately when our room keys didn’t work, and we had to wait 20–30 minutes for staff to make new ones. We had specifically reserved a king room for my elderly mother, yet her room ended up being about a 10-minute drive from the rest of our family, making it incredibly inconvenient and defeating the purpose of traveling together.
To make matters worse, we were hit with numerous resort fees and additional taxes, only to find ourselves staying in rooms that were nowhere near the quality we expected. There was also maintenance work taking place around the property, which further took away from the resort experience.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of customer service. When we raised our concerns and asked for compensation, we were told that because we booked through a third-party website, Silverado would not offer any refund or adjustment. The condition of the rooms and the quality of the stay have nothing to do with how a reservation is booked. A luxury resort should stand behind the experience it provides to every guest.
We left feeling like Silverado is relying on its reputation while charging luxury prices for accommodations that are tired, poorly maintained, and not worth the cost.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Silverado Resort and will not be returning.”
