I loved everything about our stay. The room was magnificent, the beach is one of the best in Florida, and the staff is superb. We stupidly left our personal pillow behind and we want to thank our housekeeper who turned it in and Angel from the front desk who tracked it diwn, and the person who will be shipping it out to us. Can’t wait to return.

“FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY! We just spent 4 nights at the lovely Sandpearl Resort. From the moment you step onto the property you feel the charm and history of this beautiful resort. This is our second time here and all I can say is it's a 10/10 in all areas. Beach and pool are gorgeous. Clean and such attentive friendly staff. Tate's Grill staff are amazing also. Food and drinks from both Tates and Carretta's were fantastic! But what really impressed us was the full breakfast Buffett at Caretta's set up every morning..WOW. Rooms have all been renovated with a beachy vibe and wow the mattresses are the most comfortable ones we've ever slept on! It was a dreamy vacation and we have stayed at some Four Seasons that don't match up to the Sandpearl. Can't wait to come back!”

“We just left a fantastic 5 days at Sandpearl!
As a mom of an 18 month old, things I appreciated/noted:
- the 1 bedroom suite said city view but still had a water view of the other side(?). Some traffic noise but better than expected.
- complimentary mini crib and high chair to use for the week
- accommodating staff at the restaurants
- complimentary puddle jumpers and noodles/boogie boards for the walk-in pool and sand toys for the beach
- non-slip pool area that didn’t get too hot under your feet
- fast valet service
- dinner at Tates was easy, tasty, and not crowded compared to everywhere else we tried to get into in the area
- shuttle service wasn’t used but the bellhop thought they had car seats (would confirm)
- nice clean bathrooms for the pool and beach with changing tables
- $28 breakfast buffet at Carettas was a great value and we could skip lunch that day
The hotel was booked with a conference and sports teams that weren’t using the pool, so we didn’t run into any issues with chairs at the pool. The pool was probably only 25% till the week we went (1st week of March). The resort area was crowded but the hotel was perfect.
The pool water was a perfect 82 degrees, thought the ocean was too cold to swim in (as expected). The pool didn’t get direct sun until about 10 AM though (before daylight savings) so 11 AM per spring/summer hours.
Note that the reserved beach chairs are close to the hotel, but too far back from the water to watch young kids. I’m assuming the area in front of the Sandpearl chairs is public.
Some days there were lots of love bugs swarming and other days we didn’t see any. Not sure why so inconsistent, but they were certainly a nuisance, though they don’t bite. They’re all over Clearwater/FL(?) though, but something to be aware of. They didn’t bother us in the pool but were swarming around our food/the chairs. Personally I can’t enjoy outdoor dining/relaxing when I’m shooing bugs away! Will definitely do more research on that before coming back, since early March isn’t even prime season for them.
The shampoo and conditioner did not work well for my hair, so I would recommend bringing your own. I had bad hair days and it left my hair knotty.
The pillows were actually not pancake flat for once and didn’t leave me wishing I had my own!
We can’t wait to go back when we can use the Ridleys kid club amenities!”

“This is a beautiful resort from the minute you walk in there was a beautiful large lobby with music playing and champagne being offered. The rooms well appointed and comfortable. The location is very good. It’s quiet, but it’s near shops and restaurants. The pool is beautiful and everything was done to make the stay agreeable. I would highly recommend this resort. “The hotel and staff were great. The amenities and the location are fantastic- within walking distance of great restaurants and stores. The beach is amazing and feels like powdered sugar on your feet. Also, I forgot two items in my room
and they called housekeeping immediately upon my checkout and popped them in the mail to my residence- most hotels will say they “never found it”. Would go back!”
