“I had a great stay at The Karol Hotel. While the exterior doesn't fully reflect it, the inside has been beautifully updated. My room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The staff was outstanding. I was traveling alone, and the manager, JD (or JE), was very attentive and helpful. Jared at the restaurant was also fantastic and provided great service. The staff at the rooftop bar were also excellent!
I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!”

“I do not write reviews but this hotel deserves one. First, the hotel is beautiful and spotless! From my first impression to my moment walking out the door, the Karol impressed. Second, the staff were all THE MOST FRIENDLY hotel staff I’ve ever met. Every person near me the entire time no matter where I was greeted me and asked if there was anything they could get me or help me with. I highly recommend staying at The Karol when you’re in St Pete, FL. I will be back. I can’t thank the staff enough.”

“The hotel was comfortable and staff were very helpful. The room was very nice and no issues apart from only one paper coffee cup per person - I asked why and was told that guests were discouraged from taking coffee in the room when they could have it and pay for it in the restaurant!”

“I had such a pleasant stay the first time at the Karol Hotel a few months ago that I made a point of staying here again when my travels brought me back to St. Petersburg. Both times, the room I was given was clean, quiet, and felt new. Although the bed was rather hard, the sheets and comforter were comfortable. I'd heard that the view to the lake is much nicer than the view to the street, but no rooms were available on the back according to the receptionist. The blackout window treatments worked well, and despite being on the street-side, the room was quiet, especially after 10 p.m. when there was less traffic.”

“We chose it for the proximity to PIE Airport. We were so pleasantly surprised at the entire hotel. From the arrival, the spacious room and bath, to the quiet atmosphere , to the excellent menus. We didn’t visit the rooftop bar as our stay was brief. I would drive out of the way to stay again.”
