We had a wonderful two nights stay to celebrate a birthday. A memorable experience. Staff throughout the hotel were warm, pleasant and attentive. Evan did a great job with our check-in. He was warm, friendly and anticipated our needs. Service at all the restaurants was excellent. The staff at the beach were awesome. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The hotel grounds are magnificent. We enjoyed exploring the property. The hotel is only a short easy hike to Puu Pehe, or Sweetheart Rock. Breakfast at Osteria Mozza was great. There is a shuttle service to/from Lanai City. The Four Seasons App chat is convenient- quick reply to questions and requests. This is a great place to relax and enjoy an island getaway.

“Amazing property even cooler with the new statute in the front!! I highly recomend staying at Sensei which is on the island so you can access both four season lanai beach access and sensei !!”

“Best resort I have ever stayed at in the US. The location, the property, the food and the service all were amazing. They have every detail dialed in, especially making all the logistics super easy. Staff was amazing across the resort.
Things to call out for future travelers
-Reservation includes a free lanai air flight from HNL airport (& shuttles to airport hanger)
-Snorkel cruise had amazing boat and crew
-beach access and chairs are 5 minute walk from hotel
-golf course is amazing and although pricey tee times it does come with all inclusive Food and drink
-Resort is kid friendly, but has an adult pool. The Four seasons Sensei (15 minute drive) is adults only but more of a wellness hotel than beach retreat.
Overall it’s a tropical sanctuary that is the closest thing I have ever gotten to something like Fiji or Tahiti but in the United States.”

“Did not stay here, however, did go to the restaurant with views overlooking the fabulous beach! The LNY (Lanai) Juleps were fabulous and we shared the Mahi Sliders and Venison Meatballs with friends. Rather expensive but expected at such a fine resort. Check when the steam fountain is activated which was rather fun to watch and experience!”

“This hotel is a throwback to what service was and should be at 5 star resort .
After a slip up on our reservation the hotel has gone above beyond to make things right including a massive upgrade on our suite .
My husband brought me here for a birthday week treat and this has been heaven on earth .
The resort clearly trains their staff to treat guests like royalty from check in …. .
Ben at the pool is exceptional watching over everyone and everything so that your days at the beach /pool are pampering and comfortable in every way possible .
Martine at the Nobu on property is charming and attentive so whilst Nobu food /selection is not quite up to the standards we have done to expect from the global brand -Martine and the setting on the outdoor patio make this a must experience.
Breakfast is delicious and the selection is vast .
I can’t rave enough about this magnificent hotel in a magnificent setting .
I will simply say it is truly PARADISE …”

“We heard that Lanai was a little piece of heaven and now we know. Four seasons lives up to the expectations here in Lanai. We enjoyed every part of the resort including dining, pools, beach and golf. The golf course blows most others away. Seemed expensive for a round of golf until we got out there and realized how truly spectacular it really is. The staff goes above and beyond to make it feel like Fantasy Island even the plane is included”

“Best resort hotel we have ever been to hands down.
Greeting- they practically fall all over you when you arrive (I know this is typical for Four Seasons but they really do it right).
Teak wood in all common areas is gorgeous.
Staff kind and accommodating— they were all professional, kind, and really top in their field.
Rooms very comfortable and spacious.
Adult pool area and beach were spectacular (note- softer chairs at the beach would be nice ;)
Food was expensive- but you are on Lanai and at the Four Seasons so I didn’t expect any different. Just be prepared.
And food was all worth it :). We ate at Nobu twice and the staff and food was all beyond amazing.
Breakfast at Mozza was spectacular as well.
The golf course was the best we have ever played. Challenging with spectacular views.
We will definitely be back!!!”

“I am the type of traveler that if it’s not better than my home then I would rather stay home. We are here now and I cannot rave enough how much I love this resort. I am a very private person, no crowds, commotion or seeing everyone from your area type of vacationer. If you want beauty, impeccable service and luxury accommodations this is the place for you. Fernando has been great from making sure we were happy with our rooms to making reservations at their wonderful restaurants.
If you want it all this is the place to be!”

“I was really looking forward to visiting Lanai for a quiet part of our trip. This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We had a beautiful ocean front room, ate amazing food and enjoyed perfect 90 mins massages in the spa. We also played two rounds of golf on the most immaculate stunning course I have ever played on. The vibe of the place is relaxed and luxurious. Thank you!!”

“Wonderful stay at a property that truly makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Flying into Lanai and then the drive to the hotel with the 4 seasons tree lined up, makes you feel you are entering a haven. Although there is lot of construction happening, it never interfered with our stay. The rooms have been upgraded tastefully and have all the necessary amenities. They also provide you with Yeti bottles to ensure you are not using one time use bottles.
The beach had strong waves but the service at the beach is great with hotel providing chairs, towels and food even though it is a walk from the resort. The family pool is on the smaller side and so we didn't end up using it much. Service at the hotel is exceptional with staff going out of their way to make sure all our asks were addressed.
We did the snorkeling tour and the trip on the catamaran was a highlight. It was luxurious and the staff on the boat took us to an amazing spot where we saw great sea life.
Overall this was certainly a memorable trip and I look forward to coming back in the future.”

“Nothing is better than Lanai Four Seasons. If you are looking for pure luxury and beauty and away from it all than this is the place. Not my first time and for sure not my last. The hotel is amazing on every way the setting and the beautiful trees and flowers. And how you feel like you are the only person there because of the way the hotel is set up. The rooms are amazing best beds ever and the gym is gorgeous. Great beach and full service at the beach. The staff is so personable and on point makes you never want to leave. I cannot say enough great things about the Manele Bay location and the Sensei resort up in Lanai City. A shuttle ride away”
Extraordinary!!

“I don’t think a cooler, more extraordinary place on earth exists. Lanai feels like Hawaii 100 years ago — wild, raw, and breathtakingly authentic. It’s seemingly a vision of Larry Ellison’s personal playground (he owns nearly the entire island), but instead of being flashy, it’s a seamless blend of cowboy, wilderness adventure, and pristine mountain and beach escapes.
The Four Seasons Lanai Beach Resort deserves six stars. Imagine a hotel carved from a single piece of mahogany — that’s the level of craftsmanship and beauty. The service is unmatched, with managers constantly checking in, and the sense of intimacy is unlike anywhere else in Hawaii. I wish I could remember everyone’s names, but there were more staff than I can count that made the experience extraordinary. And shout out to Uncle Bruno, a poolside fixture weaving palms into figurines and weaving core memories for every guest by the pool.
Every day, the resort offers excursions designed to get you out into the island: hiking, horseback riding, ropes courses, shooting, sailing, and world-class snorkeling right off the beach in what feels like your own private lagoon. It’s the closest thing to a deserted island experience, yet with ultimate luxury.
Lanai actually has two Four Seasons: the beachfront paradise and the adults-only mountain retreat. We stayed at the beach resort but dined at the Lanai City Bar & Grill — easily one of the best meals of our entire trip. Think Michelin-quality Hawaiian comfort food under soaring pine trees, live reggae, and zero pretension. The resort’s Nobu and Malibu Farm are excellent too, and looks like a new Italian restaurant is on the way.
Yes, there’s some minor construction, but it’s camouflaged so beautifully that you’d barely notice. Every detail, down to the Japanese toilets, is impeccable.
We met frequent fliers and Hawaii veterans who swear by Hualalai for families — and we agree, it’s amazing — but Lanai is beyond special. Fewer kids (especially once school is back), lots of couples and honeymooners, and an unshakable sense that you’ve discovered something truly unique. But plenty to do for a family. I’d put the two resorts at a tie in terms of experience, but Lanai is like stepping into jewelry box washed up on the most naturally beautiful land mass, untouched.
We are counting down the days until we have the opportunity to return. If you want to see Hawaii at its most authentic, adventurous, and luxurious all at once, Lanai is it.”

“We came here for our babymoon and brought our 2 year old with us and had an amazing time. We live in Southern California so Hawaii is pretty easy for us to get to, but we were looking for a unique experience away from the busy vibes of other islands. WOW! We were blown away by our experience at the Four Seasons Lanai and can’t wait to come back! We booked through AMEX but were able to enjoy everything as if we booked directly. From the complimentary transfer via Lanai Air and airport shuttle pickup to the resort, we felt so relaxed and welcomed. Our son was spoiled the whole week we were there - he loved the stuffed parrot and crib they left for him, along with the bath amenities, kids robe and sponges by the bathtub spelling his name! We were very appreciative of the diaper genie and daily housekeeping, complementary laundry and turndown service. The bedding was so luxurious and we felt that our partial ocean view room was perfect for our family. Each morning we’d stop by the front desk and grab some fish food to feed the koi on our way back to our room. Our son also loved becoming friends with the 6 parrots throughout the resort. Each morning they’d greet him with an “Aloha” and he loved it! We were there the week before the Fourth of July and our son was the only toddler there for the majority of the time, it was mostly honeymooners. We’ve been told around Christmas there are a lot more kids, but we enjoyed the peace! I enjoyed my Mother of Pearl prenatal massage in the spa - hands down best massage I’ve ever had! My husband loved going to the Adventure Park during naptime and even got to do a Snorkel Sail one morning which he thoroughly enjoyed and said it was some of the best snorkeling of his life. The food throughout the resort was phenomenal - the French Toast was a favorite at breakfast!! We were able to book a nanny (the resort staff helped us find the right agency) so we could go to dinner at Nobu kid free one night and also go to the Observatory on property. It was a nice treat to have our son be able to eat free the entire time we were there. The pools were nice and while the beach was a bit rough, we enjoyed laying out and playing in the sand. We stayed for 6 days/5 nights and felt like it was the perfect amount of time. The staff was so friendly and welcomed us by name each time they saw us as well. They went out of their way to make sure we were always comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!”

“This was one of the best hotels I have ever been to. The beach was surreal with the kindest beach and pool staff imaginable. The employees were polite, welcoming and understanding. In the room we got surprises every evening, the perfect end to a beach day. I would 100% visit again.”

“We actually went in April of 2024, but TripAdvisor would not allow us to put that. The hotel is 5 Star. Best place we have ever stayed. The rooms are well appointed, modern, very relaxing, and luxurious. Bedding is plush. The bathrooms in the rooms are so nice and relaxing with separate shower and soaking tub as well as two vanities. We had a garden view. It had a nice patio and the gardens have gorgeous plants, a coy pond, outdoor tables, chairs, etc. The hotel shared areas are all well kept, clean, there is always someone cleaning or watering plants. There is the kindest gentleman uncle ________ who takes care of the parrots and he will let you see them and they can perch on your arm if you want. All of the restaurants are fantastic and there is a variety between sushi at Maru, 143, an amazing breakfast experience, and a smaller restaurant-coffee shop upstairs. Lobby, spa, and the main parts of the hotel are beautiful. Even the lobby bathrooms are luxurious and have bidet toilets (sorry, I have never seen this in a lobby bathroom before). Pool deck is wide open. We had our pick of places to rest in the sun and they have cabanas too. The adults only section is very nice and virtually wide open. We have stayed at other resorts where you need to "get to the pool early to stake your claim"...it's nothing like this here. You can truly relax and know that you'll be able to find a place poolside. The beach experience is one of the best we have ever had. 5-star service from the beach crew...they take care of everything. Chairs, umbrellas, frozen pineapple...would you like to order lunch?...they're on top of it....need water?...sunscreen?...another towel?...they are on it. From the moment you step on the chartered plane from Honolulu (they also fly from Maui), its a luxury experience. You fly over the island, land, picked up by shuttle or private car. Driven to the resort. Check in is a breeze...no lines...no waiting for anything. They even provided a special birthday cake for our daughter on her birthday (3rd night of our stay). Abolutely 5-stars. If you think it is in your budget for a vacation, then I would highly recommend doing it. Probably the best luxury relaxation in my lifetime.”

“So if you want complete tranquility go to their sister hotel in the mountains (Sensei) but if you want a wonderful pool and ocean experience, beautiful rooms that feel like you are in nature and one of the best Nobu's I've ever experienced, come here. You must go on the snorkel sail just to enjoy the boat. Everything at this hotel is luxurious. The only downside is you will see a lot of children (if you want to avoid them, go to Sensei) and the occasional Trump apparel (which I find completely distasteful at a place like this where you are spending so much money - keep politics at home, please. Thank you.) Other than that, you can't go wrong here.”
