    “Name says Holiday Inn Resort. This is a far cry from resort. In-room amenities were very basic. Define not at par with $600+/night stay . I requested for a tea-kettle and they could not provide that. No bath robe either. Room was I a detached wing and not in main building. At check-in we asked for main building room and they did not have it which was understandable.But room we got was view of parking lot and for such a high price I thought they would atleast give us a room with better view. Breakfast at dining room was not even feasible with an hour long wait at 7:30am. Staff were generally very curt , no welcoming greeting. No one asked - how was your stay ? Most cold and unfriendly staff . For future stay I will avoid Holiday Inn .”

    “Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist perfekt. Aussicht am Pool sehr schön. Bei Zimmerbuchung unbedingt auf Meerblick achten, denn sonst schaut man auf den Parkplatz.”

    “Rooms were well maintained; the decor was modern and nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Coffee bar and lobby area in each building was appreciated. Very accommodating to our service animal, and very pet friendly, in general, though you didn't feel like the hotel was inundated with dogs. Morning breakfast was accommodating. Everything was a bit pricey, but as expected for Bar Harbor, Maine during peak season. very well manicured grounds, and it was just lovely to watch the sunrise over the water and listen to seals bark off the island nearby.”
