    “Overall we had a wonderful stay. The staff is super attentive & nice. Our only real “complaint” would be the “king suite with sea view” room is a bit cramped. The furniture is nice, but possibly a bit too large for the space. Our room was impeccably clean & the bed was very comfortable. Valet was amazing & so easy! 10/10 for him. The night of our stay there was an alarm & you could smell something, but the PFD got there quick & we were let back up in about 30 - 40 min. Bartender was funny & did a great job navigating all of us that were suddenly crowded around that area of the lobby. We had a great time & would recommend this hotel if you are looking to avoid the big chains. ”

    “What a great hotel in Portland, Maine. We really enjoyed the stay, from the beginning to the end. Staff was very helpful, the room was great and additional services are great. There is a great restaurant just across the street or you can go downtown and use the complimentary "taxi" service.”

    “This was my first time visiting Portland. I was wise enough to book a room at the Longfellow. Upon my arrival I was greeted to a warm entrance with a beautiful bar and renovated space. As a Hilton member, I was upgraded to a room which was spacious, clean and filled with natural light. The concierge was both friendly helpful and took me to my room herself to show me a tour of my room and all the amenities she went above and beyond as that, all of the staff. The café in the morning was delicious and I returned there for lunch due to my positive experience in the morning. I would recommend anybody this hotel upon their travels to Portland and can’t wait to return myself again soon.”
