C’est un hôtel, sans Casino, calme, en plein milieu du strip. Entre le Bellagio et New York. Le personnel est sympathique et le petit déjeuner à la carte est très très bon.

Very friendly and attentive staff (named staff praised)
Spacious, clean and quiet rooms with luxurious tubs
Beautiful spa and enjoyable pools (adult-only pool)
Delicious dining and strong restaurant recommendations
Seamless valet and concierge service; thoughtful touches (handwritten notes, amenities)
Worth knowing — Inconsistent room cleanliness/strong odors and stained carpets reported · Restaurant limited offerings off-season; sushi bar not serving at times · Isolated reports of poor service and operational issues · Low water flow in some showers reported · Food/restaurant smells in parts of the hotel · Perceived poor value for money by some guests
How guests scored the stay
Service10.0
Consistently praised: friendly, helpful and exceptional service with multiple staff members named (valet, front desk, concierge). One negative report exists, but the volume and detail of positive service feedback justify a top rating.
Location9.0
Repeatedly highlighted as an excellent central Strip location with easy access (house car, tram nearby) and great views — clear strength for the property.
Amenities9.0
Spa, pools (including adult-only pool), turndown service and other amenities received strong praise. Minor service inconsistency noted (e.g., sushi bar not serving at times).
Room Quality8.8
Rooms described as spacious, gorgeous, quiet and featuring luxurious tubs and great views; however some guests encountered stained odors and carpet issues, so slightly below perfect.
Food and Beverage8.7
Food and dining were often called delicious and exemplary, with strong praise for the restaurant; isolated negatives include limited off-season offerings, sushi bar not serving, and some odors in parts of the hotel.
Overall Experience8.5
Overall stays skew very positive (memorable luxury experiences, attentive staff, beautiful property and spa) but tempered by a few notable negative experiences (room odors, limited F&B availability, isolated service issues), producing a solid overall score.
Cleanliness7.5
Generally reported as clean and spotless by multiple guests, but at least one guest reported strong cleaning-product odors, stained smells and old carpets in some rooms — mixed sentiment lowers score.

Classy place with friendly and personable by staff n n that knows your name. No comparison to the casino hotels.

“No casino on premises makes for a quiet respite from the hyper-stimulation of the strip.”

“This was the most seamless hotel stay we have experienced in a long time. Every detail was perfect from check-in to checkout.
It's a beautiful, clean, tranquil place steps away from the casinos and attractions, and everything else Vegas has to offer. But when you return at night, it's quiet. We stayed in a spacious, junior king suite with a city view. It was lovely, with a large bathroom that had a separate shower and soaking tub.
There is an adult pool along with other pools on the eighth floor deck. We enjoyed spending time there to cool off. The pool and bar staff were wonderful. The Dole pineapple colada was delicious.
I had afternoon tea at Peacock Alley, and it was delightful!
This is the only hotel I will stay in Las Vegas!”

“Another AMEX FHR hotel that deliberately does not offer enough money for the free breakfast perk. Hotel offers $60, the bare minimum allowed by AMEX.
Unfortunately, unless you're getting Coffee and a Croissant, you're going to be spending extra $$ because the GM or the F&B Director wants to nickel and dime their guests.
As you will see in the attachment, the American Breakfast is $32, add in $8 or $10 for tea and you're looking at $42 before tax and tip.
As someone who's booked through AMEX over 100 times over the years and travels 100% for leisure, its unfortunate that I come across a small percentage of the hotels that pull this nonsense.
(I should also mention that when I brought it up to an agent at the Front Desk, she pretended that AMEX sets the dollar amount for breakfast....so I had to inform her that it is absolutely the hotel that sets the amount
On the bright side, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. Some rooms seem to be more modern or renovated than others. Hotel was a Mandarin Oriental a year or so prior to Covid.
The Waldorf is also a non-Casino hotel which is a good thing....and besides the Aria is a less than 5 minute walk next door.
I also love that the pool area is pretty mellow; no loud piped in music, no wild/drunk guests and you don't have to fight to get a lounge chair.
I just don't understand the logic of potentially pissing off your guests just to save a few dollars”
Cet hotel est parfait et je le recommande !

“I had a wonderful experience at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. Here are some highlights that you might find helpful as you evaluate where to stay in Las Vegas:
- Location: The hotel's location is excellent—right in the middle of the most active part of the Strip. Properties like Aria, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Paris, MGM Grand, and Park MGM are mere steps away, as are the Shops at Crystals.
- Vibe: The Waldorf Astoria is a non-smoking, non-gaming hotel that provides a welcome respite from the overstimulation of the Strip. If you are looking to be near all the energy and action yet have a quiet and restful retreat to return to, this property is for you.
- Rooms: The rooms are well-appointed and gorgeous. I loved the stylish decor, modern touches (such as panel-controlled drapes and lighting), the valet closet (with free shoe-shine service!), and high-quality bath amenities from Aesop.
- Amenities: Some reviews mention a "lack" of amenities on the property, but I disagree with this assessment. To be clear: this is not a mega-resort/casino; this is a luxury 5-star hotel. The pools are beautiful, the gym is great (offering free fitness classes), and the spa is amazing (though, sadly, the laconium and experience showers were temporarily out of order during my visit).
- Staff: Where the property truly shines is in its staff of top-notch professionals who thoughtfully attend to your needs. A massive shoutout to Christopher and Kadin in Peacock Alley and my wonderful personal concierge, Celise. There were so many other team members who made my stay memorable whose names I didn't catch—from friendly doormen and helpful desk agents to spa, dining, and housekeeping staff.
- Personalized Attention: I greatly appreciated Celise's handwritten note and thoughtful welcome amenity, as well as Christopher and Kadin's cocktail recommendations and great conversation. They even remembered me from a quick visit I made for a cocktail seven months ago—astute memory and incredible hospitality!
- Dining: I took full advantage of the on-property dining. Afternoon Tea at Peacock Alley was a delicious and very cute treat, alongside great cocktails and lunch options. Hard Shake was a lively, fitting spot for an evening nightcap, and in-room dining was top-notch as well. (I sadly didn't get to try Zen Kitchen this time around, but look forward to it on a future trip.)
The hotel suited all of our needs perfectly—offering a comfortable bed, a quiet atmosphere, and a great workstation with sweeping Strip views for work, alongside relaxing spa and dining amenities for downtime. This property is worth your attention and consideration; it is easily among the best in Las Vegas.”
This is clearly a 5 star hotel.

“It was our first time in Vegas and WA was an exceptional place to stay. Smoke free, incredibly clean and the personal service top of class. We stayed in the one bedroom strip view suite, the views amazing and the comfort of the bed and pillows made waking up difficult to do.
We loved the Waldorf Astoria and all the excellent employees that worked the time we were guests. We will most definitely return.”

“Plus:
Very nice staff
Fast valet service
Pool with very comfortable loungers and plenty of umbrellas, helpful attendants
Good Beds, clean rooms
No casino makes in and out a breeze, especially with kids
Nice breakfast staff (Kristy)
Good work out Facilities
Minus
Rooms show usage
Low water pressure is annoying
Air con could use more power
Zen restaurant needs more attention to detail - like flower presentations
Guest are not accompanied to their room
No explanation given at check in
Locker Rooms at health club need upgrade
Saving costs seems a priority at the hotel!
Resort Fee useless - like at so many corporate run hotels in Vegas”
Need many upgrades and improvements

“Needs major upgrades to the pool and suites for what is being labeled as luxury. Management/360 leaves much room for improvement in all areas. The hotel has gone down hill service wise from my review a few short years ago. Additionally, no app ready TVs still! The TVs are so old and outdated all around. Suites with TVs in mirrors do not work. Everything needs a major overhaul.”
Serenity on the Strip

“The WA is tucked away behind store fronts on the strip which immediately creates a calming atmosphere. The entrance is steps away from the strip unlike some other hotels that seem like a mini hike. There is no casino in the WA however there are casinos and shopping within walking distance. The room and food met the expected WA expectations.”
