“We really loved that we were close enough to town to go to restaurants and shopping but far enough out of the center of town that the beach was almost private. The staff was very very accommodating and super nice. The property is pristine, the pool sublime.”

“The property is right across from the beach. The staff will set up comfortable bean bag chairs and umbrellas for you while you are on the beach which is very nice. The courtyard is beautiful and every night they have bonfires. Very nice heated pool. The hotel is a very close walk to town. There is a bar where you can get drinks and coffee. There is also food and drink service to the pool, beach, and courtyard. Nice clean rooms.”

“The property is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. We loved being steps from the beach while also having the pool, courtyard, and fire pits to enjoy. The staff was very friendly, and the morning coffee and muffins were a nice touch.
There were a few things that could have made the stay better. The sauna door didn’t close properly, the steam room was out of order, and pool towels took quite a while when we requested them. There was a photoshoot directly outside our room one day, which was a little disruptive without any advance notice.
Overall, it’s a beautiful property in a great Montauk location, but for the price point, we expected a little more attention to detail.”

“Absolutely LOVED the Hero Beach Club! My new favorite place to stay in Montauk. The beach set up was amazing. We ordered food to be delivered to our umbrella. Food was great! The pool was perfect and clean with super comfy seating. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view from the Oceanside King. I can’t wait to go back.”

“Great beach location, good vibe, Room decor was nice and clean.
AC, WiFi, staff & coffee was very good. Parking was adequate. Convenient walk into the heart of town with the benefit of not being right in town allows for a less crowded beach and more quiet atmosphere.
Value was good considering height of season in Montauk.
Whale, porpoise and seal watching off the beach was an added bonus on our visit.”

“Hero Beach Club is right on the beach and just a short walk into town. Really a great location. They also have curated a relaxing and fun vibe throughout the hotel and the pool is also wonderful. The service is great and the fire pits are on every night. They offer all sorts of wellness classes as well.”

Only recommendation is if you are going with kids, ask for a room that has a door on the entry to the bathroom (shower) rather than just a curtain!”
