Awesome location at the top of the Canyons resort. Spacious rooms with great balconies. The hot tub was perfect and the on-site restaurant was very convenient. The staff were wonderful as well. We had a great weekend.

Rooms are noted as clean in multiple reviews; no major cleanliness complaints, though one review described the property as somewhat dated.

Good Location, Very Disappointing Experience

“I recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric Park City for a short ski trip. The location is good and convenient to the mountain, but the property itself feels dated and in need of updating.
The real issue was how a middle-of-the-night emergency was handled. Fire strobes and alarms went off in my room due to a burst pipe. The in-room phone didn’t work, the front desk would not answer calls, and I had to run downstairs not knowing what was happening. Staff was dismissive and offered no apology or solution. I sat in the lobby for two hours and couldn’t get back to sleep, which ruined my final ski day.
I understand that maintenance issues happen. Poor communication and lack of concern for guests is what earns this stay one star.”
Amazing adjacency to Park City Sunrise Gondola...
8/10
L9676TEkellyy · NONE · 2026-02-20
“The Hyatt Centric is located in an amazing adjacency to the Sunrise gondola at Park City, literally steps away. The rooms are clean and relatively modern with all of the needed amenities including coffee maker, make up mirror, robes, mini fridge, toiletries and balcony. The hotel offers a valet service for ski equipment, which was a nice touch. The gym was great and the pool and hot tub looked very welcoming (although we didn't use). The lobby was cozy and warm with hot chocolate and infused water offered throughout the day. The restaurant needs some work though. Prices were way too high for what you got, including the breakfast buffet at $46 per person. The dinner menu seemed limited and not really family friendly. The gift shop could really use some love and attention too. I wanted to buy gifts but the selection was lack luster. Also, my son, who is constantly starving - had a difficult time finding good snacks.”
Excellent stay with close proximity to the mountains

“Great location for snowboarding. The snow condition wasn’t great this year so ski in and out wasn’t available. But the sunrise gondola is only steps away from the hotel, which still made it super easy to get on the mountain.
The one bedroom suite is well equipped with a full kitchen. Washer and dryer in the room were much appreciated.
The hot tub was pretty big and close to the entrance of the building. The gym came with sauna and steam room.
Service of the Frontdesk and restaurant staff was excellent. Thank you!
One star taken off because I wish the hotel would have informed ahead of time, or on their website, that ski in and out wasn’t available due to snow conditions. I was bragging about the ski in and out to my travel companions so we were disappointed to find out at check in. Otherwise we had a great stay and had a great time even in the worst snow condition in 50 years.”

“We stayed here for Sundance, and the location was excellent. They offer a daily shuttle to Main Street from 5:00–10:30 pm, which made it easy to enjoy the festival. The staff was mostly accommodating and attentive.
The rooms were comfortable, very clean and spacious. Complimentary coffee was only available for 2 hours, which felt a bit short.
We didn’t try breakfast, but it was convenient to have an on-site restaurant. The lobby had a nice ambience, we also enjoyed the game room.
Overall, it was a great place to stay for the festival.”

“Location and helpful staff”
The easiest property to ski with kids hands down!

“The location of this hotel could not be more perfect! You are literally steps from the gondola! It was the easiest ski in-ski out property we have ever stayed at! So close that your kids can even carry their own ski equipment to the lift! Not hauling your whole families skis because the walk is too far is game-changing! You are super close to all the action, but not so close that the Apres Ski DJ music can be heard from your room! We loved having a cocktail down in the main area and then retreating back to our quieter hotel! The staff was great and very accommodating! The breakfast buffet was delicious and the perfect way to start the day. We will definitely be back!”
Best Hyatt Experience Ever

“We spent four nights at Hyatt Centric Park City with friends and had an absolutely wonderful stay. We applied a suite upgrade, and the suite was massive—beautifully designed, with a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer, which was truly a game changer on a ski trip.
What really sets this property apart, though, is the staff. Erin, Shayla, and Cameron at the front desk were exceptional—attentive, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. I never had to ask twice for anything. They went above and beyond, from retrieving items we’d forgotten in our room to coordinating shuttle pickups, and even turning my daughter’s lost stuffed animal into a sweet moment by writing her a note about how it was “on its own vacation.” That level of personalization was incredibly touching.
Our servers each morning were fantastic, especially Amalia. The shuttle driver (I believe his name was Justin—apologies if I missed it) was quick, informative, and full of helpful tips for getting around. The adventures desk was also incredibly helpful, offering great ideas for kid-friendly activities.
The complimentary s’mores kits and hot chocolate were the perfect finishing touch. An outstanding property with an equally outstanding team—we truly can’t wait to return.”

“We had a great stay at Hyatt Centric in Park City! Hotel location is very convenient with ski in/out, and hotel is well maintained and have a nice atmosphere. As only improvement we noticed breakfast area was a bit dirty and room service was done late afternoon (when we were back from skiing).”

“Old property, has not been updated. Got stuck in an elevator for over an hour. Aside from "sorry for inconvenience" and bad attitude from maintenance manager - no other actions taken by property manager. Also, send them another photo of the second elevator showing error message ( feeling of lack of overall maintenance ).”

great location, revolting and overpriced food
6/10
ClarefromLondon · NONE · 2026-01-10
“Nice staff, rooms are ok. Great location. Good ski valet service. The biggest downside was that the food was very poor and horribly overpriced. The restaurant has all the atmosphere of a soviet bus stop and comically overpriced breakfast-$50 pp for a very average buffet. New Year’s Eve dinner was terrible - 4 courses of reheated frozen gloop served in a total of 25 minutes like a strange competition to get you out of your seat as quickly as possible -like a fast food chain. Highlights included an ‘amuse bouche’ cracker that had the texture and taste of baked paper stuck together with glue with warm ‘seafood’ (aka reconstituted something) on top, weird very sweet and sickly leek and potato soup, a minuscule ‘wagyu’ which was more like rump and a revolting impossible sweet mass produced cake that was inedible. And I love cake -but could not eat this. We felt really ripped off especially compared to the other excellent restaurants nearby. We literally only ate in the hotel one time in 5 days.”

“We have stayed at this property multiple times, and it could not be more convenient - especially with the new Sunrise lift right next door. We always stay in the Large Bedroom Residence and really appreciate the amount of room it has! The staff also went above and beyond on our stay when some clothes were left in our room upon check out. Hamza Khan and Joshua Fawley-Puello went above and beyond to make sure we got all of our items and were so nice about it. We appreciate you so much!”

“The property is a beautiful cozy cabin like feel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable; and the rooms with balcony views of the village are amazing. Perfect for enjoying a morning coffee while savoring the view. But the best thing by far about the property is the amazing staff. Incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile for you. A very special shout out to the manager Russell who was just the epitome of hospitality, as well as Jackson who drives the hotel shuttle to main st and the gondola. Super friendly people and always happy to help.”
