    “Didn’t get off to a great start! The systems of communication don’t appear to be working here! I received an email asking me to check in online, which I did, including passport details etc, and I chose the option to include breakfast for our entire stay at a reduced price. On arrival they had no record of any of this and we went through the whole process again of filling in forms. I was told the breakfast offer would still stand. However the next morning at breakfast, sure enough they had no knowledge of this and assured me breakfast was not included! I had to go to reception to sort it all out before we were able to enjoy breakfast on the first day. I have to say the staff were all very friendly and amenable during all this though. The breakfast was quite satisfactory, nothing special. We stayed in a “Large” room, which actually wasn’t that large. There were a couple of not-that-comfy armchairs and the bed was really hard! There was nowhere to store clothes, just a few hangers, and not offering room service under the guise of sustainability in a hotel charging such high prices is ridiculous! We had to ask for extra towels as there’s no way hotel towels dry from day to day. The bedding was all feathers, which we had to get changed due to allergy, and the lighting is so dim it’s hard to see in the bathroom.”
