We were expecting to stay in the Manor House. We were given an ordinary motel room, nothing special about the room. We were extremely disappointed as we were the only guests staying that night.

    “The location was perfect after staying at St. George's as a patient. I needed an extra day to get over surgery, but not at a hospital level care. Booking the room was a last minute decision. I asked the earliest I could check in & was told as soon as I was discharged from hospital. Karen phoned me directly to let me know. Having another 24 hours in a peaceful beautiful place definitely helped me manage a long drive home. The Peacock Suite was a perfect room for me. The comfy bed & pillows enabled me to have a good nights rest. Karen was a lovely host & nothing seemed too much trouble. Definitely a place to stay again in Christchurch.”

    “We were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and a nice size and the kitchen well equipped with a 2 burner stove. There were very nice stores and a number of pubs within easy walking distance. (The grocery store being superior.)”
