    “It was comfortable with a large, well equipped room. Lots of things like soft drinks and snacks were complimentary. The staff were really friendly and service oriented. There was a nice outdoor sauna, two hot tubs and a pool. The food for both breakfast and dinner was very nice - we opted to eat in a second time after having enjoyed the first. The style of the hotel and its grounds were quirky and fun.”

    “Reception was very friendly and made us feel very welcome, they gave us snacks the next day while we were out exploring the scultures and bamboo forest. With the bonus of the Whittakers chocolates and the free drinks in the fridge and snacks. So peaceful and beautiful. Spas were amazing together with the sauna. It was a lovely mother and daughter getaway. I would definitely return again.”

    “The outside grounds are wonderful with fun sculptures and the building itself is very impressive. The pool area is good, with a sauna and hot tubs. Our room was large, with a newly renovated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable.”

    “What a beautiful spot. Lovely elegant room with a lovely bathroom - I enjoyed the lovely deep bath after a long day driving. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa was too actually. The staff were really friendly and just lovely. It was lovely to be given a little snack parcel for my drive as I left. Everything very thoughtfully done. Definitely worth the short drive out of Rotorua to stay here!”

    “We absolutely loved our stay at Hana Lodge. The property is beautiful and the surroundings are amazing. We really enjoyed walking around the grounds, especially the bamboo forest and all the statues around the property. The sauna, pool and spa were great, and our room was exceptional. We loved the interior and all the little details. The chocolates and snacks in the room and at reception were such a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel even more special. A special thank you to Ta, who was so lovely, friendly and helpful during our stay. We had such a relaxing time and would definitely love to come back!”
